I've finally fleshed out the main environment of my game, now I need to just add content to it, lol

prob either gonna use godot or game maker myself.

The full version for this is now on Steam!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, it's a fan game based on a show within a comedy universe and I imagine the strangeness can be grating; there's certainly a degree of intentionality to it, but without familiarity to that I can see it just being a bit much. Also, I might refine some of the tutorial messages to clarify some things and provide further help based on the gameplay, along with maybe a health reduction on the first boss. Thanks for the video, really cool to see others play my game!

A game that probably wont make much sense if you aren't a fan of On Cinema at the Cinema, but hopefully you'll enjoy it nonetheless!

It's a side scrolling Beat 'em Up game with also a bit of metroidvania in there

I really like the art! I wish there was more connection between the imported picture and the potion you get.

Also I wish there was more done to play with the fact that you're taking care of a potion, the fact that it's a potion feels entirely aesthetic and not mechanical in any way.

Really fun! I loved the art, the animation, the sound, the concept, the puzzle aspect to it, the only thing i'd like would be volume sliders, but that's a real minor nitpick. Overall a fantastic entry.

I really loved the sprites and style, really cute!

I really like the art. The pace of game is pretty slow, and I may have immediately bought coal my first attempt while just exploring how to interact with the game. I feel like the game would benefit from being sped up in general, and perhaps rebalancing the prices? I've gotten stuck with shops that have nothing but wood and coal that seem to burn up even a large snowball faster than i can get enough snowflakes for water.

I really like the art and sound! It certainly hits the "In the Zone" sercet theme, but I'm not sure it's hitting the virtual pet theme, perhaps some kind of caretaking for rescued pets could be implemented?

Really cute, it'd be nice if there was some kind of progression in the game.

I tried all my browsers, but it was stuck at 0% on the load screen for me on each of them.

It's really cute, but there isn't much there in the way of game. I really like the frog customization options!

I enjoyed it, I thought the theme of it was fun, but the control was a bit wonky, the grid movement made picking up things that fell on the ground a bit tricky at times, winding up the record player, picking up and placing items, spinning the cat toy, it all felt a bit mismatched to mouse position. Still, a solid effort.
