To be honest: I didn't relly get this game. First I died after one second. After I got the controls I just ran left and right constantly until winning the game. I don't really know what happened and what I was supposed to do apart from collecting crosses. A bit more player feedback (or tutorial) would have been nice.
Thank you for taking the time to play my game and for your feedback. A lot of people have said the same thing. I added an instruction screen at the last minute as I had neglected to add a tutorial.
I didn't think I could have a jumpscare playing a game from the jam, gg!
The idea is very interesting and the art nice (even if I'm not a fan of the amount of post processing effect used here).
I'm just not sure how the game is supposed to be played, the overall gameplay confused me a lot to be honest. There are grandma disappearing or not, cross on the ground that I collect to damage the boss (the big guy I guess) but I'm not even sure how the grandma was disappearing haha.
Haha, I really didn't think the jumpscares were going to work, but I am glad to hear that they did. I noticed after the jam was close to being over that I did not put in a good tutorial system and added the instructions as a last-minute aspect. Thank you for playing my game and for your feedback.
Wow I can't believe how scary this was for real. I loved it and it matched the theme very well O.O I was a bit confused on what to do but I could see a whole game with this flashlight concept. Very clever!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback. I am happy that you found it scary. I need to change the instructions and include what is needed for players to win.
This game truly put me on the edge. I love horror games that can actually put a sense of thrill or fear into the players. I definitely felt that while playing your game. The sounds go along with it really nicely as well. Nice work!
Thank you for playing my game and giving me your feedback. This is the second game I have ever created. I am glad you felt a sense of fear.
nice one! good immersive experience, the sounds and visuals accompany the gameplay, controls are simple and straightforward, I enjoyed playing! keep it up!
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed my game.
Good game overall. I liked the creepy aspect and music to it. i wasnt sure how to defeat the boss though. Also the look of an old tv was a cool addition. nice job
Give mine a shot if you get a chance https://itch.io/jam/vimjam2/rate/1200495
Thank you for the feedback. This is only my second game I have ever made and need to get better at tutorials and information. Your game was great and fun to play.
