The game feels...rough. The roughest part being how the button for "summon a platform at the cursor" is not a mouse button, but spacebar.
The puzzles are also extremely simple. The only one I had difficulty with was the one where you need to nerdpole up a couple of platforms, and that has more to do with the controls (and particularly figuring out where the platforms spawn relative to the cursor) than anything about the puzzle itself.
Thanks for your feedback! Sometimes the control schemes I use while playing is a bit weird and that can reflect on my games. I also understand that the puzzles were easy, I’m not the best at level design. Thanks again for your comment!
I love the concept and the graphics are simple but work! It would be cool if you could remove and place the people again if you mess up. Good job overall!
Thank you for your feedback! I would’ve added a removing feature but I only had a weekend left so a restart feature was quicker!
the controls arent very good i dont know why you made it move with arrow keys and use the mouse to aim where i want to spawn the people. fun idea tho
Thank you for your feedback, I will definitely add different controls and customisation for them in a later version! Glad to see you liked the idea
Good idea. I did not realizing i hit the goal. You should make all important things as a functionally visible (= goal looks like a goal, players look like a player, etc.) Characters are fun, except large physic ball does not seem to fit with tiny platform characters. Theme here instead of over all, fits perfectly. If you make an android version or other pc- version from this project, it would be nice to have Drag&Drop-featured in to this.
If it's stressful to make new projects, you can thing every build you are on to are prototypes; it has to not to be the final product; even Minecraft was a prototype once, which is a good review how most popular (and usually most successful at the same time) games and projects has a simple setup and fine release. There are no ready-up games, because nobody actually knows what people want to play or what they want to do in the game. Instead of games, some people draw cartoons or write on a magazines, and somebody tell them "hey this is nice, you should view this to the others and maybe sell something like this by making it more". Don't make worry about your game, and don't add your worry in your games either.
There are also some other nice game creation platforms than Unity. It is not the best while you need to learn many things and it is massive software. Maybe you can find a team.
https://www.gamedesigning.org/career/video-game-engines/ There are some game engines revealed on this web page; I would recommend to use Construct 3, it's simple, but at the same time it's not as that expanded what i.g. Unity is.
Wow thank you for your long review! If I come to make a full version I will definitely add more visual functionality, and change the player. I will definitely check out some game engines, definitely Construct 3. But I do like Unity a whole lot! Thanks so much for your encouraging comment! You gave some nice constructive criticism :)
Cute game :)
I found the minions spawns a bit hard to get right and they tend to fly away very easily on contact making it very hard to stack them properly.
Still, fun little game !
Good job :)
Thank you very much! I focused a lot of time on the colour pallet as my game doesn’t have the best graphics! I will think about ways to make summoning helpers easier to learn! I will also make them have a larger mass to tackle them slipping away! Thanks once again for your comment!!!
