Interesting gameplay! I wonder what inspiration you had for this game. I see other comments and I agree with a lot of them. Here's my piece: just turning on the damage would make sense, all those projectiles didn't deal any damage - thus not pushing me to be more careful with the projectiles and not using the rewind tool. And free to safely explore, and in turn, discovering that I can walk over walls and props. In regards to game design for projectiles, I see your nod to bullet hell! Otherwise, cool game!

Developer

yeah man we went the bullet hell route. I can totally see this game being like that of a true bullet hell in time. And with the rewind tool, we might have something sweet. Thanks for playing, and most importantly, thank you for the feedback!

The concept is interesting. A suggestion regarding level design. There are many obstacles and the mechanics of turning back time are not complemented by obstacles. You should design only one level that challenges the player on how to use the time rewind tool.

Thank you for the help!

We really value the feedback on our submission and we hope it will help us come back stronger. Thank you so much for trying it out!

Kind regards,

Player constantly trying to clip through the floor and just falls out of bounds if you try to rewind, also you can get on top of props and walk over the whole level with no way to get down. Press Rewind UI conflicts with Level Complete UI (can't press next level until rewind out of level complete trigger). Wasn't able to get down the stairs on second level due to first bug. Also there seems to be no difficulty since you have so much health and basically can always rewind (I was able to just run through all bullets on first level without rewind).

My suggestions: make very little hp (maybe even one-shot), reduce number of projectiles, improve hitboxes, improve movement, make rewind ability a limited resource for a whole level, add more mechanics and introduce them gradually throughout the levels. Maybe try to rework rewind ability so it rewinds only the level, not the player, just to experiment. Also, will work much better with simplified and stylized visuals instead of semi-realistic assets, and without heavy post-processing, that will bring a lot of visual clarity to the gameplay

Thank you for trying it out, and the feedback/suggestions,

Nice graphic and light effects. My player will go deep inside the ground if I use the rewind skill for some reason, sorry d

it's all good, we had a bug on build at the last moment haha. As long as the concepts are taken in, it can still be seen as some decent material. The team were so hot man, really skilled programmers! I'm sure we will get it playable again after the submission reviews are over. Then folks can replay and have a better experience... maybe even with some more features!

But most importantly, thanks for trying it out!

Oh you made the flappy bird game haha! I enjoyed the music on that and the gameplay is solid
