Awesome work! This is one of my favorites so far.

Damn Nuno this music is beautiful as hell, made me feel sad.

Gameplay is great, tho after you climb to the 1st rest stop you can't really lose. You could add a raising lava fountain from bellow.

Overall great theme and execution, you can add another mechanic with double jumps or trampolins if you plan to extend the game

Developer

The music was the one thing I got from an asset pack, you can find it here: https://void1gaming.itch.io/platformer-music-pack-lite
I did want to add upgrades or more mechanics but of course didn't have time haha. Thanks for playing!

One of my highlights so far! Super chill vibe, the core mechanic feels really solid, the visuals are great and the character is cute. Massive respect for pulling this off solo in 3 hours!!

Poetic challenging platerfomer. Really interesting to gradually change the bubbles the renew gameplay and totally change how to analyze and plan the player’s movement.

I started with just the orange/directional bubbles, those were working pretty well and I felt like I was almost done (around the 2:00-2:15 hour mark). However it was pretty challenging, my playtester (wife) had a tough time getting the hang of it. I realized I could add a new bubble type without much code at all, hence the green bubbles which just don't move you in a direction, and they decelerate you slower so you get that bit of drift after hitting one. That created a much smoother experience to start the game.

Really chill and cool game. Reminds me the bubbles in animal well. Nice done!

Developer

Glad you found it chill :) Yes! I love the rooms with all the ascending bubbles Animal Well, that was definitely part of the inspiration.

A really relaxing, no-stress game. All the game elements felt well balanced, and overall it was a really solid and cute experience :)

I completed the game in 7:14, not the best score ik hahaha, but tbh this one is the best game I played so far, super fun, I loved the graphics, the chracter animation feel so smooth, great job!

Developer

Glad you liked it and finished it! I think of the timer as a way to challenge yourself if you want to play again. The first time is more about just enjoying the ascent.

VERY COOL AND RELAXING GAME

Very polished and fun. Reminds me of the bubbles in celeste

Developer

Thanks! Yes, the moving bubbles are definitely stolen from Celeste. I thought it might be fun to have them set to random directions and you have to kind of plan a path through them on the fly.

Good job! I love it! Concept is good! Polish is awesome

The art and polish is so good for a game made in 3 hours. Pretty fun simple game too. Good job. :)

Thank you! I planned my time carefully for the first 2 hours and that set me up to do the final touches in the last hour. I did it across several sessions with planning/thinking in between.
