A really relaxing, no-stress game. All the game elements felt well balanced, and overall it was a really solid and cute experience :)

The game has a really fun, humorous tone, and the rock breaking sound is super satisfying.
As feedback, the camera felt a bit oddly positioned: the character was quite low in the frame, so I would probably move it a bit closer to the center. Also, since the camera followed the character quite tightly, adding some smoothing would make the camera movement feel more fluid.
The first level was already quite long, so I didn’t end up trying the later levels, but I enjoyed what I played.
Also, great job considering it was made in just three hours :)
Thanks a lot for playing the game. Yeah, the damage system is designed so that when you press space, a damage area appears around you, and this area needs to overlap with the enemy’s body in order to deal damage.
When making a game, it’s easy to become “blind” to how unintuitive or difficult something might feel for a new player, since you’ve tested it so many times yourself and know exactly how everything works under the hood.
I need to be more clear about how I communicate what is happening.
Thanks again for the clear and constructive feedback, it’s a big help, and something I can learn from to make my mechanics more understandable next time. Also I really appreciate you giving it another try and managing to beat the game in the end :)
Hey, thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback (and for playing my games in general, really appreciate that).
This one was me trying something a bit different. My main focus was experimenting with making the enemy feel more “alive” rather than just building a super polished mechanic around it, so there are definitely still some clear shortcomings.
You’re absolutely right though, playing it the “intended” careful way is actually pretty challenging right now. One thing that can help (though it’s not explained well at all) is not going straight through the center, but slightly off to the side, since there’s still a small damage area in the middle even when the circle shrinks.
Also yeah, this wasn’t really in my comfort zone as a developer, and I think that shows in the end result.
Really glad you liked the visuals and effects though :)
I love the concept! Super chill and nostalgic. My best result is 8 skips so far. There is lovely Ghibli vibes in game <3.
I can already see how this idea could be expanded by adding a map with more lakes and ponds, and small interactions with animals or other NPCs. You can gather with your friends to throw rocks ^^
I liked the unique atmosphere of the game!! The moving background elements were cool.
I would improve the player's visibility, right now it's a bit lost in all the colorful stuff. Some of the assets were also quite detailed, and it was hard to see them properly without a full screen button. Overall, it was a neat little moment of chilling :)
Start by choosing a scale (like blues - there’s happy and sad scales). By default, there are 4 tracks: you can put melodic instruments on the upper tracks and rhythmic ones on the lower. Each track has square blocks where you can record variations (0–8). Pick a tempo now or adjust it later. Under 'type', choose an instrument for each track; the bottom track uses the standard drumset by default, which is a good place to start. In the 'edit' section, you can add more tracks or bars if you want. Try different instruments, place blocks on the grid, and hit play. Experimenting is the best way to learn :)
That's nice to hear, thank you :) I made the music with Beepbox - if you are curious to use it yourself: https://www.beepbox.co/
I played the game again and the monsters were a pretty fun addition. What I was thinking in my head was that the last blob with eyes would grow arms and legs and slowly evolve into some kind of blob monster instead of just exploding xD Maybe creature's hands and legs could bounce organs all around, pure chaos! :D
I liked how accurate the character movement was. The game was quite challenging, but it became much easier when I switched to full screen mode. Nice 3D feel and the difficulty level was just right so it didn't cause too much frustration. It felt polished overall and I really liked the sound effects :)
