Thank you, I had so many ideas, but ran out of time
Will make it even better next time
Thank you for playing it =P
I wanted to add more mechanics, like an upgrade to spotligth and multiple dancers and music but ran out of time.
You are right, difficulty is so hard to balance, even I struggled to keep the dancer in, coming back to with with a fresh mind I have loads of improvements, but maybe I'll put it on the next project
Great game, I can see there is a deep lore in your head
Man I knew this inspector had to go as soon as his fu manchu mustache came into my keep.
My boy ODonel can't be that bad. Got ending 4 in my first play =P
I totally killed the inheritance dude before I even knew I needed to, because of his atitude so it worked out great.
Improvements for next time:
Uncle Sam! After all I did 4u?
Very funny game, I was however bit confused by the options, I didn't read much and ended up spamming hte buttons so the game ended in seconds.
Figuring out the order of upgrades and keeping them entertained while watching the art is the hardest part about making these games. Good job
Simple but effective.
This dude Soleil comes into my shop and I get him 2 sugars and 1 expresso and it should hit the spot but alas it doesn't, then I notice the expresso offsets the sugar perfectly.. so next time he comes around I hit him with a perfect sugar packet (what kind of human comes to a cofee shop for a sugar packet, soleil I guess)
anyway great time, and excelent execution (even if there are 2 solutions, the simplest is often the right brew)
Absolutely right, my sound design skills are still growing, been learning lmms with a midi yamaha keyboard, on the other hand I coulda have used my mic to record animal sounds. Will be better next time.
Themewise I had a caravan in mind that would travel to the animals and a time resorce being depleted to increase difficulty but time didn't allow. (if you notice my game assets fell in quality dramatically cause they were drawn in the lasts 5min XD)
Interesting idea, I see it needs more time but there is something.
Notes:
sucata huh? BR detetado XD
Liked the art, very humble but gets the point across :P
Overall great idea, my advice is to add a tower defense mechanic, that would rebalance the game.
Keep it going brotherman
I liked the art and music and sound effects, very endearing and a lot of storytelling without much words, however...
You got a lot of mechanics, my advice is to focus on only a few . I didn't have fun when moving between zones I guess you are making me use my memory which I like but clicking map and selecting destination then go then move to the booth was testing my patiente and I'm older now so I was tired. I think you could make a fun real time locomotion to make it funnier tho.
Keep refining this idea, onwards
Great idea and art, I did not like the UI tho.
The text is a bit small and the scroll is awkward, maybe make it a page at a time instead of 2 pages.
Also I didn't understand the proportions and the patient didn't really help much
6 plants and 5 slots means 1 is left out but are repetitions allowed? Does order matter? A lot of combinations to try I can't do my usual brute force XD
Oh man this game is elaborate
Few notes do what you want with it:
Keep it going brother
Such a cryptic game fells like an artifact from another planet :P
That shinto priest selling me a gameboy 64 was interesting haha
Notes for improvement:
Nice job, I didn't play till the end cause it was gonna be long but it has a nice design.
Few notes:
I've played my share of these clicker games and I still find them great
Small note you should add some spin to the drop, I just found a way to stack 100c on top of eachother without having to use the sides at all (it felt like a debug tool)
Also I didn't find the connection to the theme, I am travelling but where is the merchant?
Hahah lotta magic in this game,
I wanted to approach the clients from behind but no dice, really reminds you of street advertisement.
The game loop is very fun, right hand = arrows and left hand = typing. I was trying to edge on the clients and not type too fast so that I wouldn't waste the 3sec increase (I believe it caps at 10), but I kept loosing because there were no more clients.10
Great idea and execution, only improvement I'd make is more mobs and remove the 10 sec max
Sweet and very cute, sliding tiling games are dope.
Only hoped there would be more levels, but I can apreciate how hard it is to make a level much less randomly generate one. Nice touch that the tile gets locked once you match.
I didn't really interact much with the nr of swipes limitation, I've played a lot of puzzles and one of my favorite troupes is a mirrored puzzle where interactions in one screen are mapped into another screen and you must solve two games at once, look it up, maybe a fun idea for another jam
Very fun and enedearing, loved that old lady that drops a barrel on a costumer and wants somthing tom keep them calm, mind you not cured, just calm :P
I guess you had plans to make travel restrictions but ran out of time (I could travel to any place despite it being connected)
What do you think about text games comercially, my feeling is that language doesn't carry that easily since concepts like protection and luck sometimes overlap, it's very nuanced. Regarless I had a great time
Quite delightfull game, I wanted to jump from the stairs at one point but couldn't so I just found another path.
Steve the imortal fell down the edge of the world and the game never restartedd :P
I didnt play enough to check, is there a way to win or does game demand keep increasing arythmetically forever?
Great idea and execution, the game took me 30min. Loved the small game loop of 4 shops (items, money, prices and stock)
I think my only improvement would be a sell all or slider to avoid having to click the item multiple times, but in a way it's not important since one of the mechanics is controlling money in pocket
hahaha this game is a lot of fun, why is this car so dramatic?
a simple turn and the car is sent drifting around like crazy :P
This reminds me of yakuza's street.
As improvement if you want:
Lovely text game, I was totally unaware of the hours mechanic and coulda gotten a highscore but spent all my time selling instead of buying.
I'd use something more visual to explain the negotiation time mechanic, like a progress bar. Most players like me would just ignore that and lose out.
My idea was similar to this but I wanted to randomize prices and objects, your implementation of cities and fixed prices is much better, good job.
A lot of fun. You already wrote in the comments the animation is buggy in web but I think it may be the collision box, 1/2 deliveries fail even if I am in the right place. Regardless, did you notice you can drag a buncha cars and prevent them from exiting the screen by standing at the screen edge?
Lotta fun.
Also when making a game always think of winning and losing conditions, that small improvement makes a game loop and improves the game a lot! Nothing wrong with a game that caries on forever but I don't really know if there is more game hidden
My goodness I love when that big dumpy face contorts into a smile. Makes my heart smile.
You should give me bigger collision boxes for the cat mugs, I wanna throw the cups at them as they drive by but the chin is too small. Also check your algo for colors. Sometimes I have 4/5 cups delivered correctly which is mathematically impossible (two or more must be incorrectly delivered (it happened mostly when two cups had the same color)
Also the jiggle as the caravan moves is a nice touch that does not go unnoticed, 3h is not so much time but I also spent ungodly amouts of time polishing random stuff noone will notice
Great game concept I had something similar in mind but had to cut it down due to time.
My first loop I though (this shopkeeper must be crazy if he thinks I'm gonna buy two identical water bottles for different prices), so I didn't and the prices kept hiking and I could never financially recover.
My second play tho, lemme tell you, I'm what they call diamond hand cause I kept my bottles for 3 shops and sold it at 25 & by the time I had 30 shops I had 85 bucks.
Please nerf the gorilla shoper he tried to sell me red balls for 60 when it's clearly a 50 max purchase :P
Very funny game, I love reading hahaha
(SPOILERS DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT TRIED)
I don't understand why Corvalis 6 , Corvalis 7 is not the right answer. Corvalis is the only place to make gold and azurite and the golden age was 530 to 650. I tried 6CE but nothing.
Feels like I missed something. Also the trade routes book is not showing ( maybe it has crucial info)
I couldn't advance beyond the first level cause I simply didn't find the answer :P
Beautifull horse and homble folks in sombreros.
I got the same problem as BENGAR, the game loop is incomplete, after the first delivery I'm left to wonder for 108sec . I do like the HP mechanic, I had a lot of fun speeding agains walls and houses to my untimely death.
If you'd like here's some suggestions:
I love hand drawn games like these, also great sound effect :P
Few notes: (I know time is not enough to fix all so I'll leave them if you wannna work on it later)
