Brilliant work, truly. It's a joy every time I see PICO-8 pop up. You did SO much with SO little here- the graphics and sound are LOVELY. Near PERFECT rating on everything but I look at that 9 hour dev time and must deduct rating.
If it were any other jam, I'd be pulling for you to win.
I like the game loop, the art and music fit perfectly.
Only thing I'd add is a jump mechanic, that witch sometimes makes impossible paths and I need the vertical space to catch them

- I miss a bit more for the theme than just the story around the score
Thank you for the feedback! I was thinking about a fun twist but I had no idea which could have been quick to implement or not lead to being able to lose. And I wanted to do a chill game which can't be lost :(
