awww thank you so much for playing and your comment :) that is such a nice feedback <3 i was really struggling with the sounds! :( maybe i should watch some tutorials on sound in pico8...
to make it a bit easier to understand, i now added the sprites to the description! :)
with the object distances i still might need to test around a bit, you are right! i already tried to make it less harsh by making the hitboxes smaller than the sprites.
It's really satisfying to watch! I agree with previous comments that it's quite slow in the beginning. I guess you did not have time, but I think it would be awesome if the buttons showed the prices themselves and that they would have different colors depending on whether the player has enough energy to buy them :) But overall: nice game! And really strong forest rejuvenation haha
I don't really understand what to do. I guess you need to pick something from two options but you can only actually pick the thing with the cube in front?
Also, why is the instruction in French? I recommend translating the text to English, as most people here speak English, not French. Maybe just use deepl or google translate?
The idea is really nice, but I got stuck because the cat can't push the blocks down and since there is no lose condition. Also, the width:heigh ratio does not really work well on computer screens, but given the controls are arrows and wasd, I guess it is supposed to be played on PC? Your art is nice though!
I like the idea of the dual task! Good job for getting it done in 3 hours :) I think you should improve the explanation a bit though, because I first didn't really get what I need to do :( When I understood, it was quite fun. The only error I found: at a certain point the big cube did not "eat" the small black cube anymore because it was too small, I don't know if that is on purpose? o:
Nice game! I just really wish everything would be quicker! I am a horribly impatient person :D I think it would be good if the player would encounter pests earlier. I did like 4 sides and just did the same pattern everywhere until something different happened. Or maybe add tiles that can't be driven on, so the player needs to change their path sometimes? :)
Hey, I'm Bee! I always wanted to create my own small games. And since a few months ago, I finally started doing that :) Until now, I always used Pico-8, but I want to try bitsy for small story games :) I want to join the community to learn a bit more about bitsy and maybe ask for help if I need some.
It's a really relaxing game :) One really slow red fish made me kind of aggressive, but apart from that it was really chill haha :D The only thing that I thought could have been better: I wish the audio would sound a bit less...intense? Like it was slow, but in a depressive way? I don't know how to describe this with words haha
But it's a really cozy game, I like it <3
Nice game! I think the music and the idea is nice, but it's sad that it stops playing during the levels :( I think that might be a tiny bug? For me, the game was a bit too stressful for the theme. I like the idea that you have to do it with the perfect timing, but I think the concept of a "perfect timing" is not as chill as I would have liked with the theme. So I think overall it's a nice game, but it did not fully fit the theme. Anyways: good job :)
