Fun game, great job!

Developer

Thank you so much :)

Pretty fun, I like how fast the car is, makes approaching obstacles take a good reaction time.

Developer

Ah thank you! Glad you enjoyed

Nice game! I like how you took the time to decorate the map even in the 3 hour time period. It gives the game a nice bit of life, which is always appreciated

Developer

Hell yea! Thank you so much, it was a fun layer of polish to add

Extremely cool concept! The feeling of movement was there and the going across race tracks was a very cool and unique take on the theme. Bumping into walls feels a bit jarring and I wish the momentum would carry over shifts, but still amazing :D

Developer

Thank you!! So glad you had a good time playing. I agree the collision isn't great, that's my first priority update after the jam ends!

Great visuals and great concept. I think some more clarity for the player when they can teleport to the next track would be a great game feel.

Developer

Great idea! I'm thinking about a minimap. Thanks for playing!

Love the concept, if you polished the car controls and made the second track visible before you switch this could be a real hit. The tracks could be laid on top of each other with transparency, running parallel, or even two sides of the same road. In 3D I would have the second road above the current one, upside-down, and reverse gravity to shift between the two.

Developer

Oooo this is brilliant. I love the 3D idea.

Thoughts on a minimap?

Submitted

A minimap could help with the sudden turns you can't see coming, but so could pushing the camera forward a bit. It's also difficult to look at a minimap when you have to keep watching the track you're on to react to stuff on time.

Nice take on theme, car is very responsive, maybe too much, good work.

Developer

The car is VERY responsive. I think I want to tune down the max speed and acceleration. Thank you for playing!

Some paths are too complex, but once you figure it out you can finish quickly, it was fun \o/

Holy crap i didn't think sub 20 was possible!

Submitted

And... i was happy with my 30 seconds try :(

Developer

SUB 20???!!??!?!?!?! THIS IS INSANE! I NEED TO SEE HOW YOU DID THIS I DONT UNDERSTAND

Cool, I really like the music and how the game feels. Wish I could see more of what's coming sooner - the car goes really fast!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed!

And that's a good suggestion, I agree the car moves a bit too quickly and you end up slamming into that first wall too hard.
