Ah hooray! Thank you so much, so glad to hear.

Bummer you got stuck on the bedroom journals. We'll work to clarify this puzzle a little more in our post-jam revisions.

Thanks for playing!!

Hello, thank you kindly! What awesome reflections. I too love the Mad Max feeling so I'm really glad that came through!!

Great note about the story between the gameplay, I'm actually revising the script as we speak!!

The game will returned in a more finished more polished state, with the puzzles a little more clarified. For now, I wonder if one of the journals is communicating something across entries...

Thanks for playing!!

Thank you thank you! The worldbuilding was such a joy to put together. Glad you enjoyed the puzzles as well!

The Door is unfortunately as far as we got during the jam time, but more is coming soon!

And great point about the menus, UI overhaul is on our list of improvements!

Thank you for the feedback and for playing! Hope you'll return when we've sorted everything out

Ah, thank you so much! We did our best and I'm glad it resonated

Hey, thank you so much! I really appreciate hearing you enjoyed the game! The Door is unfortunately all we had time to get through during the jam, but the ending is coming soon...

Thank you so much!! So excited you were fond of the world and the voice acting! 🙂‍↕️ Sorry for the crash, and we have quite a lot of UI elements to integrate. We're keen to keep working and finish out our complete vision for the game, thank you for your feedback at this stage :) And for putting on these sweet jams

(1 edit)

Thank you so much! Good flag about the singing leading to bedroom. Def not intended, but that's about where we stopped on content anyway, you just missed one image!

Appreciate your kind and thoughtful feedback

Hey Marden! Your profile link is currently not working for me :(

Oh gosh thank you so much!! Rest assured, we will be expanding this project shortly...

So much more Leva to come 🤭

Thank you so very much! So glad you enjoyed :3

Thank you so much!! <3 We want to keep developing, so this is really encouraging!!

Woohoo thanks!!!

Thank you very much :)) We're very proud of our little game 💓

THANK YOU SO MUCH! More is soon to come...

Thank you!

WOOP!!

Hooray!! Thanks :))

Cool idea! Well-executed and engaging. I think the timer is probably too short for the levels, especially as you introduce more puzzle-like elements. And restarting from the beginning feels ROUGH. But I did really enjoy the game and would return again. I'm not sure if you did the art or if it was assets, but the game also looks really good and all the visuals are super well integrated!

Lovely little game. Solving riddles like that was very fun, and I love how many different ones you had. I'd love to see more levels and more story!!

I think your opening exposition was a little long for me personally, and I didn't really understand what I was doing until I got into playing and then it clicked.

But overall, I quite enjoyed!

This game is AWESOME!!! I love word games and I love rhythm games so this really did it for me. It's a very cool idea, and I love that you scraped Project Gutenburg for this.

As a couple others have mentioned, I did end up spamming q and z which was a pretty viable strategy until I got too ahead of myself. I wonder if this game could work where, like, you can only use each letter once, or like playing a letter puts it on "cooldown" for a few rounds.

Such a rad idea and a really cool interpretation of the theme

Amazing! Thank you so much. Duly noted about the font.

The red runes appear when you make an error or when you type a line too slowly. I think I need a clearer way to communicate that to players!

This game is awesome! Might be my favorite of the jam so far. A really simple idea, well executed and well polished is such a good direction for a game jam game. Looking at the screenshots, it seems like the game gets to some pretty crazy places? I'd love to see faster progression towards that if so, because this game is satisfying and addictive enough that I'd want to keep returning if the levels were varying.

Also, you and your friends have great taste in books, seeing some of my favorites was really cool.

Great music choices as well, really drove the game home. The books look great, the visual design is all really clear.

Fantastic work :)

"You're already starting to live like they won't. That's important."

This game is really so beautiful. The visual design is spectacular. I greatly enjoyed the storytelling. It reminds me of my favorite play Eurydice, by Sarah Ruhl. I'd highly recommend it. It also reminded me of this game someone made for a previous jam I did. Great work. Please keep writing and devving, I'd love to play more!

My only minor feedback is that I think the pacing lags a little bit, and I think most interactions with Croakston and Greowl could contain more dialogue choices that break up the lines that are currently there into different dialogue branches.

Thank you so much!! Vibes and ambience is exactly what we're going for.

The errors should have been resetting between rounds! There was a minor bug I just fixed, so that should make it a bit easier haha. Thank you for playing <3

Thank you so much. This comment is extremely kind!! Slay the Princess is one of my favorite games, so that's a huge compliment. I love your ideas for expansions!! Reminds me of Papers, Please which was definitely a strong inspiration.

Thanks for playing!! :)

Hey, thank you so much! I'm a writer first so that means a lot. Glad you enjoyed<3

I loooove the idea of shifts! And meeting others from the IEP. You've gotten me thinking about how to expand the world... Thanks for playing!

Oh no! Yes I agree an error message about what specifically caused an error would be ideal. Sorry you found it too difficult :(

But glad you enjoyed the story!

Very very cool spin on the theme! Trying to find the commands that were out of place was really fun. And I think it works especially because so much of this playerbase is developers. And such a polished interface y'all made!

Small feedback from me is that I really wanted to just click on the spot where a change needed to happen and modify it myself. I felt annoyed knowing the answer but losing due to the controls!

I think there's a cool idea here! With a timer, some added difficulty, and maybe an extra mechanic or two, I would totally return and play this game!

Yay! Thank you!

Muito obrigado!! :)

Hey hey! Hope you check ours out!!

Yesss thank you!!!!

Ah wonderful!! Thank you so much <3

Hope you're able to figure out the bug! This game looks really cool. Ftr, I think it'd be okay if you didn't have a title screen and it just went straight to game, if that's causing a complicated issue

HOORAY!! So glad :)

Thank you so much! :') So glad you enjoyed

Hey, thank you so much!! I'm so glad the story got you to stay, that's always what I want to hear
