Yeah, it seems like that happens in every game jam.

Thanks for the feedback! Btw, I finally figured out what to do and know I have a tech demo where you can mess around with different level sizes. If you'd like to check it out: https://ffredigames.itch.io/a-brief-case-of-belts

Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it.

Love the art style, the gameplay could be a bit spiced up, for example with more types of troops or power ups, but nice job, non the less.

Very fun game, good job. It's interesting to come up with strategies and optimising the layout.

Cool short little game!

Very fun puzzle game! I would love to see it expanded!

Good game, it's surprisingly intense which makes it very fun!

Fun game!

Very fun game!

Great concept, the idea of placing more hints is good, nice job!

Love the art style and character designs, great game!

Fun game with a great concept. You could make this into a great horror game if you like that genre.

Great game with a very cool asthetic. Increasing speed could make it a bit more challenging and avoid it becoming stale after some time.

It was interesting to see the different endings. The game reminded me of dreams when you think it is going to end and then it doesn't. Cool feeling and vibes!

Fun game, great job!

Cool game, 53:48

Very cool game with a great concept, you could expand it!

Good game, would love to see it expanded.

Very cool game!

Sometimes the mirrors don't bounce lasers, I won when I redirected the light into a random wall instead of the laser receiver. Overall a bit buggy but a great game, if you fleshed it uo it could be a very enjoyable puzzle game.

The levels being quite large is just plain luck, I tried to fix that but run out of time, so all blocks have an equal chance to spawn, including end blocks. Glad you liked it!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing and feedback!

Thank you! I feel like game jams are about learning and Trijam was a great idea to really focus on one thing, at least for three hours.

Thanks!

Thanks! I had runs where I literally spawned into the end, the whole map was one block. Good old RNG. A min map size would indeed be helpful.

Good game that fits the theme perfectly.

For some reason when the laser doesn't bounce on the mirror, is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? (Very interested in the game by the way, hope you'll give me some help)

That's what took most of my time (about 90%). I've recently been into roguelikes and wanted to try some random level generation. If I ever get to a future update, I'm planning on making levels that branch out, rotate and other things like that, since that was the original idea, as that would  fit the theme, but I ran out of time so I resorted this mini demo version.

Really good game, the updated version is even better. Cool concept and great execution.

Cool game, but the level is a bit too hard. If there would be less trains or a smaller map, acting as a tutorial, it would help unexperienced players.

Awesome puzzle game. Woudl love to see more.

It was harder than I expected, fun game!

Great game! Rogue-like is the natural evolution for a game like Snakes & Ladders and the excecution is perfect.

I see, thank you for clarifying it.

Thanks, I'm planning on improving it in the future.

Cool game, but I think hard difficulty where you don't know what numbers are there on the blocks is a bit unfair.

Good story that keeps you hooked 'til the end. I see why you chose to use AI but I still would recommend making art for yourself. Prompting something to an AI and drawing a stick figure takes about the same time and I don't think having very simple drawing would have made the game less enjoyable.

Very interesting puzzle game!
