Loved the game. Everything about it.

I also played the update. Now Momiji's new moves give me big Llyod Irving energy. It's even more fun now!

I've made a showcase of the game here! Though it's the Jam version so some things in there don't apply to the update, and it's condensed since this game has a good hour of content and I have to show the other games too.

All the moves were in the original jam version of the game, it's just that the controls were so poorly explained that it was easy to miss that they were there. I feel pretty bad about this, that's a lotta extra work that so many people never saw, and it definitely affected some people's impression of the game (as they have told me directly)

Thanks for playing, though!

Good god, how is it possible to do so much in two weeks? Did you swap your blood out with espresso or something? I'd list all my favorite stuff about the art, attention to detail, writing, audio... but to keep it short, I'll just say it's the first entry that's 5 stars in every category for me.

Smooth controls, check. Head-scratching puzzles, check. Polish, check. Humorous writing, check. The complete package, if you ask me. (I deserve to be slapped for making it sound so easy.) I love/hate how it took actual commitment to beat the last boss. Anyway, I only played the final build but judging by the bugs encountered by those who played the jam version, I guess I'll dock a point or so from gameplay.

Thank you for posting the version with room restarts and saves or I would never have finished this game for the rating.

I really like how polished this game is despite being a quite ambitious concepts. rom the art to the UI. the game feel is on point too with this one with loads of squash and stretch. It is really cute all the way from the writing to the art and enemy designs. The combat system was really fun too, despite combos are not communicated well. The puzzles are designed in a very clever way too (except that one puzzle that you have to leave a room and come back, that is so out of place), I could even say too can take the puzzle elements and make a full puzzle game out of it. Although the major hurdle of me finishing this game is to not softlock myself, this game has quite a fair share of bugs and glitches that can be game breaking, but after playing through fully I can safely say that the game is very enjoyable. Do look forward to the expanded version for this.

Honestly I'm stuck at the second room, but what little I saw is absolutely great. The art is adorable, the premise is very in the theme, the writing is top notch, and gameplay is actually fun, if only I could solve puzzles.

A quick hint for that room and several others: Nitori can move freely over pits as long as she's holding on to something solid, so it's all about what you're grabbed on to and what direction you're holding it from

What a lovely game! Shame I'm not good at it, but I have fun even despite that. I can take lots of time on a puzzle, but it feels so satisfying when I finally get it! The music is great, the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and there's so much packed into this game with both the puzzles and the dialogue. Well done!

I look forward to post-jam updates, such as the save feature

Really fun! I love everything about this game, from the RPG elements to the combat to the puzzles. Its hard to believe this was done in just 2 weeks considering how sold it is. Maybe some of the puzzles could use a bit more polish, and there were a few bugs here and there, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game. 10/10

Great game! I really enjoyed the puzzles. The flying twist makes it different from all the other block puzzles I've played, and is just the kind of spice that's needed in this genre. I think even the "infamous" room could have worked, if the game somehow taught me to pay attention to the different kinds of blocks beforehand.

The combat was fun as well, in particular the boss fight. I was planning to do the optional encounter afterwards, but the game ended, so that'll be for another day. The writing and visuals are also top-notch.

Really glad to hear that honestly; uninspired block-pushing puzzles have always been one of my least favorite parts of any zelda-inspired game, so if nothing else I'm satisfied with having done more than the bare minimum, and maybe someday I'll be able to capture the essence of what makes zelda puzzles so cool to me

runs on wine but sound is broken if it's not in a wine prefix. to get around this, i set it up as a steam app with 'wine "path"' as the shortcut target (since for some reason it wouldn't work in proton but worked in wine fine).

double dog boss fight was hard but i beat it uwu

This was really fun!

Sadly it crashed right before the last couple rooms, but I'll give it another try if you patch it more!
