This game is a funny experience for me. I died once because I'm too hasty on proceeding without letting the heat restored, and after that proceed to finish the game by moonwalking around half of the way. XD

I streamed the game here around minute 88 in case anyone wants to watch me play.

This is a cool walking simulator. I love how you made Chen's everyday life feel bizarre and dangerous to the player with just a few horror game tropes (minus the actual horror).

I was honestly expecting to have to solve some really obscure puzzle, as I am used to with PS1 games, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that that's not the case. The camera angles are neatly done. I agree with junejijo that this game evokes a feeling particularly well, like coldness and emptiness, and I'd add danger too, but also the safety of a warm place.

Have never played RE1 in my life and was still able to identify the source lol. Graphical Effects were really impressive, and the controls were (I assume at least) emulated frustratingly well.

This is such a fascinating little project!

It really does feel empty and cold, and there's a lot of environmental storytelling going on here, whether that was the intention or not. Where are we going? Where is everyone? Why is Lily White just hanging out freezing and miserable outside our house? Things of that nature.

The tank controls are, well, tanky, which adds a degree of difficulty to the game for sure. The camera angles switching made navigation an adventure at times, but they really added to the visual curiosity. You really went for a feeling here, and hit it very well! Excellent job.

Trying to recreate Silent Hill, heh?

Looks like the main idea is to get to the next not-cold spot as fast as possible. It's pretty cool... no wait uh, hot?

My favorite part is how you can just 𝓲𝓰𝓷𝓸𝓻𝓮 important items and try to clear the game with as few gear as possible. Unfortunately Chen is a sissy kitty and cannot reach Lily White's spot while naked. So I try to reach Lily with only the beanie but despite of my very best routing Chen gets afflicted with hypothermia right at Lily's doorstep (cavestep?). With my gamer's pride deeply wounded I decided to cut my losses and die of cringe, in the same manner Chen faceplants onto the ground as she realizes warmth has left her long ago - which was during the previous 0.1 second.
Also yes you can clear the game without the snowboard. You know, the thing Chen really wanted to ride today. The ending still give her one! Yay for surprise gifts!

Now if you'll excuse me I'll depart by paragliding into the abyss- Holy shit what is this place it's way colder than absolute zero lol

10/10 would freeze again. Strangely engrossing and a little creepy and unnerving, I wanted to make sure cat can go snow boarding at any cost.

Surprisingly compelling hypothermia simulator...

The web version for some reason stuck on the black screen with a bunch of texts, so I went with the downloaded version instead.

The camera angle changes when you move to a new location, and you need to keep an eye on your body temperature to make sure you don't freeze to lose consciousness.

You collect items to solve some problems you are facing, pretty easy to understand, and even if you freeze to death, you will respawn.

The game is oddly appealing in its own way, it's hard to describe.

It is bizarre how compelling this feels, despite how little seems to be going on mechanically. Surprisingly good.

Local cat takes a walk. Cats hate the cold. It's amazing how much everything checks out here.
