Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?

Really liked your introductory exposition. very well written. Controller felt really smooth but a sprint would of been nice. The sound effects and feel of the melee are really solid just hitting the barrels felt fun. Solid level design you obviously have pondered the players experience which is always nice from a game jam entry.

All round really good.

Fantastic and beautiful game! My only complaints are that there's no sprint and it takes to long to encounter an enemy BUT both can be said about my game :D. So great job! I really hope you continue working on this. It has a lot of potential!

This game really channels some of the visual appeal of games from my youth. I really liked seeing a lot of that in this jam. We didn't get far enough to see some action and that might be worth considering in your next game. Think of an adventure movie with no incredible action scene to open with. Lord of the Rings without the assault on Mount Doom, for example. Anyway, I was mesmerized with the animations and progression. Good work!

Per my son, "Horror, not scary at all. Theme: Did follow the theme pretty good. Creativity: not alot of people created a first person slasher so I'd say it was pretty creative. Presentation: I really liked how the game works. Gameplay: It's nice, but you really need to add more enemies. So far it's been walking talking and reading. All you're doing is slashing crates and barrels."

Great start, I love the candle bg with the story lines. Once you start the game, the environment is very consistent and neat. Cover is also very inspiring. Good choices. Congrats.

Loved this game! It made me very nostalgic for when games looked like this. Also I enjoyed the voice acting at the beginning!

Pretty solid game with gorgeous graphics and fun gameplay, the fact there are no "end of demo" flags or warnings makes playing this a bit tedious but it was still a blast to explore! There's a bit of spookiness in the game, but it doesn't quite read as horror to me with what's currently in it. The dark fantasy elements still make it readable enough though, and ultimately this is a really awesome demo!

I'm not sure that is a really horror game. But it is a great King's Field legacy project with awesome content, atmosphere and game design.
