The enemies are very durable for how quickly they can just kill you on the spot. While I recognize the want to have leaning as a mechanic to shoot around corners, the fact the machine gun enemies are on the same corner and the door closes behind you makes a scenario where there's no place to take cover and you're dead before you have a chance to kill them. I tried it three times before I decided I couldn't deal with it

Developer

Hmm, ok.  My testers didn't have an issue so I didn't touch it.  You are able to peak around the corner before coming fully across the corner if that makes sense so you can attack them one at a time.  The one that's behind can't hit you if you use his friend as a shield!

It provides a good claustrophobic feeling in the sewers. Wanted to kill more but I was stuck looking o open the door, even though I found a key. Nice FPS but I would've liked to see the theme integrated a bit more. Good submission overall.

Developer

Yeah to open the door you need to hit ENTER .  Thanks though! The theme comes in more towards the end of the game

This one was frustrating to me in that I wanted to see more of the game, but it's poorly balanced. A straight up fight a machine gun baddie is impossible. You're forced to cheese them around corners and that really robbed the joy of it all. It's a shame because it's quite a feat to complete an FPS for a jam. Of what I seen, your game didn't really capitalize on the theme. I like the box art that you created.

Developer

Sorry you weren't able to complete the game.  But that was part of the intention, using the corner as cover where you peaked around it to shoot the enemies.

Per my son, "Ya umm, BULLHEAD STUDIOS umm you did good gameplay, presentation. Raeleus didn't really like the menu. I didn't really get the story. We need to get further into the game. We play a lot of shooty games, so not very creative. You did not follow the theme at all. Plus it wasn't scary either at all."
