Might be a bug, but when I picked man > mage and hit alt twice in rapid succession fireballs would rain from the sky perpetually. Also, notice a few of the early levels, the top or bottom weren't solid so I could just stay there and take a few hits and afk to the end of the level. Controls weren't super snappy either. Otherwise good music, impressive amount of content, and I appreciated having more than just one level. Cheers!

Fun game and great use of ASCII as art. After level 1 the terrain becomes more complicated or the speed increases which basically make the main weapon useless. I really like the way it throws but it becomes almost impossible to hit an enemy because of the terrain. I was able to space out bomb uses/shield and tanking damage to make it through. Level 2 is a spike in difficulty and then it gets much easier after. I had fun, great work!

Fun side scrolling dungeon love the Houses the mobs kinda neat shooting the arrows and bombs to the moving targets, I also love the fact the terrain is somewhat forgiving allowing me to hit it and not blow up my ship the only thing I'm trying to get the feelof is just the Dragon aspect of this game but then again I kept dying at the Corrupted aka 2nd stage in lols :D cute ascii graphics btw!

That's a very cool game! I like the projectile physics, and I am a fan of the ASCII art and the glitched CDROM idea. It was as if I found some strange disc at a garage sale and played it. Perhaps you could check out my game and provide feedback as well. I would appreciate it!

Good usage of text-only limits! The projectiles rising and falling instead of just going forward was a nice change of pace. The level design felt a bit unfair at a couple of points, but didn't prevent me from beating the game. I only played the game as a human warrior, not sure how much different the experience would have been with other races/classes. Sometimes it was hard to tell what was going on with the level going fast and several enemies on-screen. Also, I don't know why you used a timer instead of a 'back' button in the instructions. I liked the music choices, the last three levels felt pretty epic due to them!

Very cool art, pretty understandable, unluckly using Alt didn't let me use anything. The toy (arrow throw) is very good!

Quick comments:

  • Text on the buttons is hard to read when the button has focus.
  • Controls didn't seem to work in the web build. Couldn't move.
  • Totally not what I expected. But quite fun.
  • The ascii art is very well done.
  • The game is quite hard, made it to level 2 so far.
