Did you credit all assets in-game (including your own) as required by the rules?

Not in-game but on the game page

How did your team implement the focus, and optionally, the theme?
I focused on creating a short interactive fiction story of an idea I had been mulling over for a while, and I think I succeeded in creating that. I tried to include the theme as best as I could, but that I could've worked on more.

Will you continue work on the game after the jam?

Low Color

Which parts of the game were NOT made by your team? (Including AI generated)
Most of the art assets, that were made by Anna Anthropy on itch.io

What tools did your team use to construct the game? (optional)
I used Bitsy to create the game

I really really liked this one, I love how much is told in an indirect way just through reflecting over items encountered. Well done.

Ouch...

Wow. I'm not a big fan of these types of games usually but the story alone, no matter how short, really won over my heart. I'm not usually very emotionally outwards of a person but I actually teared up. My only nitpick is the lack of a soundtrack but to be honest, It reminded me of the stillness in the air when you grieve. Everything falls silent. Thank you for this experience.

I like the story being told in bite-sized pieces around the house.

As a short story it's nice.

The lack of music, and the minimal sounds leaves something to be desired.

There's a lot I feel like I could say, but I think the story speaks for itself. Short, bittersweet, and very sobering. This made me want to go call my partner and tell them how much I love and appreciate them.

I don't want to rudely assume (or accidentally play into stereotypes), but the fact that the family did not approve and "our" was in rainbow leaves me to speculate and wonder. I don't know if my guess is correct or not, but if it is that makes it all the more tragic and relatable.

I truly loved this. It was an experience I don't think I'll forget. It is very short, but I think for a 10 day limit it's very sweet. Like others, I would be delighted to see longer stories from you, given the amount of heart you put into your writing.

Such a sad story... it's beautiful, though. You managed to get so much information into such a short, sweet game, from the character's probable ages to their living and relationship situation. I love how much people can do with Bitsy games!

Loved the story.

I really liked the short-and-sweet approach to your story! I've always had a fascination for micro-stories like these where you just interact with a few details in the environment and you either get more lore or hear your character's thoughts. While I did wish it offered more, I still felt like it sold its sentimental undertones well. I definitely encourage you to write fuller stories in a similar vein. Thank you for making this.

I really like the simplicity of the gameplay. I do really wish the story was a bit longer, I felt like I was just getting curious and then it was over. If there was more to explore, like leaving the house and heading to town or going to an another special place in their lives, I would've liked that.

It was a cute little experience. Thank you.
