Did you credit all assets in-game (including your own) as required by the rules?

Yes

How did your team implement the focus, and optionally, the theme?
I took a visual novel approach to the storytelling, with a set theme:

Feelings of inadequacy over things out of our control and the strength of heart necessary to live with them.

There is no choice system like a typical visual novel, but I did my best to make an interesting and meaningful (but hopefully) cohesive narrative all the same.

It has two characters (some extra background characters), a plot, struggle, and a conclusion.

Truthfully, I hadn't even noticed the optional theme until mid-way through production, so I guess it's a happy accident all things considered. That said, it is a story about a dragon without wings, who desperately wishes to fly.

Will you continue work on the game after the jam?

Undecided

Which diversifiers did you use, if any? (optional)

Low Color

Which parts of the game were NOT made by your team? (Including AI generated)
None of the music was made by me. I did a "remix" of one track a friend made (which is also present), but I would hardly call that mine.

I wrote the story, characters, plot, and the dialogue. I also made the art and about half of the SFX. Naturally, I programmed it.

The rest were all either taken from open domain websites, or are assets inherit to RPG Maker MV.

All credit is provided within the game's credit sequence, and I make some light mention of the friend who composed the musical piece in the game description as well. If more is required, I'll happily provide.

What tools did your team use to construct the game? (optional)
RPG Maker MV (Programming)
Krita (Art)
Audacity (for the sounds I recorded)

My friend used FruityLoops for the music.

I had fun reading it and I like how you used the art style to fit in with the low color palette.

I think this was a really nice story and very well told. It really feels like a childrens fairy tale, and with the music and art it is a very calming and enjoyable experience. I really like the consistency of the art, and the choice of limited color palette.

This is a story that everyone needs <3

I feel like the sound effect of the subtitle rolling out is a bit too loud that it drowns out the background music.

But other than that, it's a brilliant work! I loved it :D
