I enjoy Sokoban-likes with a story element so this was fun for me! The art was really great. I liked the use of limited moves for the puzzles. All the puzzles felt very beginner level to me, and I wish there were more challenging ones to solve.

Be the change you want in the world -- did you see the level editor controls at the bottom of the game page? If you're interested, put together a level with some challenge to it and post it here as a reply (check the web console for the level dump). I'll put it in the "final" version of the game and give you credit! I'm afraid I was mostly just trying to get the thing to work, so puzzle design definitely suffered. Thanks very much for giving it a whirl!
This game has loads of personality. Laughed at the first level’s dialogue prompt, good touch.
Helltaker meets the magic school bus... simply awesome.
So glad someone provided the one creative in the community posts with a home, that means a lot!
My only criticism is I really wanted to see the effects of my dialog choices. Other than that, I enjoyed every minute of the experience.
Good luck with your future work on this game and your Canned Heat engine!
Hi! Really glad you enjoyed it.
I spent most of my career in animation and one thing I noticed early on was how much good music and sound design improves everything. It was great to work with Matt and I think that the improvement was in more than just the end product -- I kept wanting to advance things just a little further to take advantage of whatever he'd just sent me.
WRT dialogue -- yeah, by the time I had something that could handle branching dialogue, I was out of time to really actually use it. C'est le gamejam... ; - )
