Really fun game with good feedbacks and visuals !

Well done !!

It might just be my screen, but the chickens were a bit hard to see because of the dark colour? It got tense very fast though which was good fun!

As simple as the concept was, I did not expect it to get so intense! I liked how you many different enemy varieties, that was a welcome surprise. A fun mix of arcade shooting and good audio design make this a fun "rack up those points" experience. Great job!

Awesome game both visually and mechanically! Simple enough concept with great execution makes for a really fun arcade-y game. Also, holy cow, this gets surprisingly stressful lol. It feels great defending a huge wave of chickens that almost make it to my farm, and I don't know if it's intentional or not but it seems like enemies cool down for a little after a big wave, which is a great mechanic. Overall, super fun game and great entry! P.S. happy to be 2nd on the leaderboard haha

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

The enemies cooling down is a happy accident as the spawning area for the chickens is a rectangle, that is large enough to encompass the largest screen size. This way if an enemy spawns somewhere on the right or left side of the rectangle, then another spawns at the top or bottom, they come in around the same time, and if this happens enough times, it can create a wave like feel.

Also, you beat my top score! I only ever got to 180 during testing.

Very impressive game! It's simple but fun with a good difficulty curve, and it feels very well-made. I played on mobile and it worked perfectly!

Good game. First one that I could play on the phone.

Very good graphics ! Simple gameplay but very well executed ! You should make the game over sound lower though. I liked the game overall !

Very fun and unique take on the theme, and the leather board adds more to the arcade feel. Great work!

Edit:Psss take a look at the top of the leaderboard

Well done! The leaderboard is always a cool feature ;)

This was a great Under The Dome-ish take, I found it really polished and addictive and had a blast playing it!

Submitted(+1)

That's very polished game !
Love the visuals. the little crispy effects & screen shakes makes it very juicy & enjoyable.
Only little complain is I wish iIcould just maintain pressing to fire or even autofire (since there's not really a reason to stop shooting).

Appart from that, really neat & juicy game. well done !

Developer(+1)

I actually left out the autofire intentionally, because I didn't want to limit the potential firerate, but in retrospect, I think it could have been beneficial to have it at least as an option. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

That could be implemented as an upgrade after like 50 points or something! Probably not in a 48h span like that gamejam but if you go back to it could clearly see a dozen of upgrades to chose from troughout the game

Absolutely beautiful with very good feedback! I just wish there were more weapons.

Developer

There were actually plans of adding like some kind of rockets with limited ammo, but didn't have time to implement it. Thanks for the feedback!

The enemies look great, would definitely recommend upgrades for the base tho
