  • A Sokoban, but with a color-mixing twist. Nice, but still a classic puzzle game with few levels at the moment. The music sets the mood, but remains minimalist. Very clean and good graphics.
  • A simple yet fun puzzle strategy game that I enjoyed playing.
  • Another puzzle game with a colorful twist. Really nicely done but just way too short.
  • A huge thank you for this game — very surprising! At first, when you see the title screen, you don’t expect much, but the concept quickly grabs you. It starts as a small, unassuming strategy game, but where at first I thought you just had to place the balls on the stars, the color system and ball fusion mechanic turned out to be absolutely brilliant. The only problem is that I got so caught up in it that I wished it kept going longer. Honestly, thank you so much — I’d love to see this turned into a full game.

I found this one a lot of fun, and only had to stop playing to make sure I had time to play all the other titles. Graphically, it could do with making better use of the SNES hardware as visually it looks more 8-bit than 16-bit.

Though I appreciate your visuals were a consistent aesthetic throughout.

Thank you for trying it out! I agree that the graphics and sound are pretty dang minimal. I would have loved to put in some more animation and to have used e.g. palette cycling or HDMA for BG effects! They're both on the to-do list xD

Thanks so much for trying out the game! I've uploaded a v.2 now that includes several more levels and shows off the merging mechanic a bit more :) Please give it a try if you have a chance!

I've also made it so you can skip levels you've already played by pressing START while holding SELECT ;)

Very cute game! This genre isn't my cup of tea in general, but this one is very charming and a great demonstration of your forth compiler. I can feel the pain of having to triage between audio/visuals and level design. In the end, I just cut the sleep out and did the best I could in the remaining time...

Thank you for trying the game out! Agreed, I spent a lot of time goofing around with the Forth during the first couple of months, but only when the last week came around did I really come to the realization that I had to trim things down to the _bare essentials_ just to get something out of the door xD The cuts hurt! Especially the sleep cuts on that last night haha.

Simple but fun. Only thing I'd change it just giving the balls a nicer sprite. Maybe like simple yarn balls to stick with the cat theme.

I agree! I was wanting to make them little colored planets or stars to stick with the space theme, but ran out of time T^T Also would love to animate them with a little up/down bob as well.

Thank you for trying out the game!
