Nice job! Really great potential! Keep working on it!

Developer

Thank you very much! We put a lot of time and effort into it!

-Controls are very crisp

-UI is well made

-Enemy AI is good as well

- Narrative setting is very well introduced

-Objective is clear at start

- The Courtyard is way too big

-Couldn't find weapons or defend myself

-Found the Mansion Key but got killed right after, why punish the player there?

- Super good job!

Developer

Those are all great points! Thank you for your feedback! I know what you are talking about with the mansion key. I realize that it is pretty difficult. I think a respawn system would help a lot! Something I would like to implement. And yes, we have heard that the courtyard is too large. We plan on fixing that in future updates as well! Again Thank you very much for your feedback!!

Really like the story and the final part when you go on top of the mansion then you have to escape with ton of skeletons! Good idea. Some feedbacks: Make the external part more thight to it doesnt feel like walking simulation in that phase, also in the basement use lights in order to guide players to the key spot, I spent minutes in order to find them. Great game overall

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I like the lights suggestion, definitely something to think about!I always think itโ€™s hilarious to look back and see them all walking in unison ๐Ÿ˜‚. And the walking simulator is definitely a good thought, we do plan on shortening the distance. Thank you very much for your comments!

I liked this. The rooms inside the mansion were well made and the story was also made well. Great submission overall.

Developer

Thank you very much!

I liked it but I died because I got stuck during the girl cutscene while being chased by a hundred ghouls ^^' Maybe it wasn't the right timing to meet her haha!

Especially for the cave thing, I think you should find a way to eb sure the player knows what it is: I've been looking for its key, then its location for quite a while without knowing why. Also I didn't understand what the count was saying at all :(

That being said, it is quite a spook haha!  Well done!

Developer

Wow! haha, that sounds like quite the experience! I don't think I have been chased while dealing with the girl.

Would you mind explaining the cave thing a little more? Do you mean in the basement? And, I am aware that the ShadeWalker's voice was a little difficult to understand. In future updates, I would like to change that.

Thank you very much for your comment! It took a long time to create!

I found a key in the basement, and afterwards I had to find a "key to the cave". I found it then I had to find the cave, but I don't know what this was about ^^'

Developer

Did the objectives say โ€œfind a key to a caveโ€? That shouldnโ€™t be the case. And thatโ€™s definitely a bug we would want to fix. There is no cave ๐Ÿ˜‚

Submitted(+1)

Maybe I'll try it again, but I'm pretty sure haha!

Developer

Well, a new update should be coming out and it is much cleaner!

Nice game! Had to play it twice because I coudn't find the key in the mansion first. Looking into the comments did help with that and take it up again. The world design felt otherworldly and gave me "Alice in Wonderland" vibes. Things you might add are some sounds once an objective is complete. I've felt myself suprised when I realised that the objective has changed, especially for the last one, which (I think) could easily be missed. I also find myself moving in diaganals to be quicker. You might want to change that, if this doesn't suit your vision. Overall, good work :)

Developer

Thank you very much itsmawal! I really appreciate you taking the time to try out our game! The feedback is also especially appreciated! We do realize that the key may be a little too difficult to find. Thank you again for your suggestions, we will definelty try to improve on them in future builds!

Controls felt nice. I kept getting stuck in some kind of loop with the video of the girl telling you about the Shadewalker. Looked very well made though, awesome work!

Developer

Iโ€™ve seen a few people say that. I think I know what is going on. Thank you for letting me know! I really appreciate your feedback!

Developer

Thanks! About the loop, you shouldn't go back after the well cutscene. We hadn't even though people would do that. It will be fixed in post-gamejam update

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, I was having trouble finding the key, so I doubled back to recheck if I missed something.

Developer

Thank you, again for letting us know I sent an update and we sent in an update!

Sounds, level design and aesthetics are good!
For better game experience add depth of field and volumetric fog.
As for volumetric sound it do not work as it intended (personally I change Volume Roloof to Linear Rolloff in 3D Sound Settings in Unity)

Developer

Thank you very much for your input! I really appreciate you giving us specific feedback! We plan on continuing this project and your feedback really helps!

The aesthetics were nice and I liked the narration, also pretty scary at times, but I think the gameplay is a little boring. I felt lost the whole time and I felt like I was looking everywhere to find things to eventually find it, and the looking around just felt a kind of exhausting. The game was also a little buggy. I think maybe it would be better if there was more information where the things you are trying to find are or limit where the player is allowed to go so they dont go too far from where they are supposed to go. Not bad overall though

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the opinion! We're planning to do a post-gamejam update and we're gonna take your opinion into consderation. It has been kinda ambitous project for us and having some bugs was unavoidable with the amount of time we had

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! I appreciate it and those are definitely something we will look at to improve on! We plan on continuing this project and this helps us a lot!

I loved the narration from the start! It's very classy.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for taking the time to check it out and comment!!

Submitted(+1)

But of course!

Submitted(+2)

loved the game but was unsure what to past the point in the mansion when i got that cutscene

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

If you're talking about the cutscene in the basement, look some more in the  corners ;-)

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! Yes, as mentioned maybe check the corners a little more :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out and commenting!

Also please let me know if you think it is too difficult to find.

This is a really cool style, the fog on the ground is well done and very smooth!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! It took a lot of work!
