  • I for one love the trope of a player facing off against a computer that uses their rules against them. It’s always nice to see a game inspired by analog horror! The glitchy text to speech engine was a unique touch that made the game a little distinctive too.

Love the style, and the sound design was fantastic with it. Always have loved VHS horror. Great game!

I thought the red button was boring but from that point on it got pretty intense and interesting, I really checked behind me lmao goood game nice

Developer

Thanks for the comment. It's quite hard to make clicking a button fun πŸ˜…

Well made game, and the sound design on Mr. Do What I Say is great! It was a bit too distorted at times to really understand what it was saying, I think that adding subtitles might be a good workaround to keep the distorted effect while improving clarity. It didn't take away from the game though as I could easily figure out what had to be done in the mini-games. Great entry overall!

Thanks for the feedback. I am currently working on an update that adds subtitles.

Spooky face, Very very scary noise

I love the VHS analog horror style you're going with! However, as soon as I saw the loud noise warning, I instantly lowered the volume to 20%, Glad I did lol.

really fun to play and I love the aesthetic!

An interesting concept of the game in the style of VHS Horror. It would be interesting to see this on 8-bit computers.

Hypertrophied faces from VHS horrors have always scared me.
Is there only one end to the game? I tried to lose, win and answer questions in different ways...

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. There is only one ending in the game. But you do get something different if you lose in the first game. But other than that it's only one ending.

Fun!!) Haha)) Thats super cool) Mr. Play my game also!)

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, your game may be a little bit too big for my laptop to handle (I use a crappy laptop). I would've loved to play your game though.

Fun and creepy. His voice really adds to the vibes and charm, but at the same time it's really hard to understand him. Subtitles would have been perfect to balance those two things imo. The games were simple enough to guess what I needed to do, though. Was a really fun experience :)

Wow, the aesthetics of the game are just amazing. I love these effects  a lot! The sound design is also on top, as is the idea. At first it seemed to me that it would be easy to win, but in the end it became a fun challenge :D I really want win that guy!

The only thing that was a little frustrating was that at the second stage, the yellow circles appeared too often in the same place where Mr. Do What I Say was and he absorbed them immediately :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. If ever update the game in the future then I will most likely fix the spawning mechanics in the second game :)

I really enjoyed this game! Nice work. I really liked the visual effects and unsettling images

Very creepy had just one issue where on the second game Mr. Do What I Say got stuck in the top right corner of the screen, but other than that very nicely done.

Now this is a true horror game. Well done Kaos!
