Trying to enter the doors was a bit finicky and the monster would still kill you if you backed away close to it spotting you.

I like the art. The opening hallway with the perspective was neat. The puzzles are cool too.

Overall, a really cool entry, I enjoyed it. Makes me feel nostalgic.

Excellent point'n'click adventure, I had to say you don't have to spoil everything with text (like when you pick up an item your character say "Hey I can use them like that"), player can figure out and it doesn't stop the action.

The pixel art is beautiful, the discretion mechanic is clever, and the parts where you need to escape the monster are tense !

By the way, it's funny how your monster just look like the one in my game, but drawn in pixel art :p

Good old point n' click game! Love it. I've also never seen the mouse-speed-mechanic you used before, and thought it was extremely interesting. Would have loved to see it used lot more too, it can be used in so many different ways. Now, glancing at the other comments, these were already mentioned few times but: I also agree that making the inventory more clear would be good (I aimlessly threw my mouse around until I accidentally found it), just sometime like a small arrow indicator would fix it quite well. Btw, the inventory was nice touch too! And secondly the "camera view" for a player is at points small bit confusing, you have mitigated this with the different flooring you used in different rooms. I wouldn't really say these ruin the game, but they are both little things that take the player out of the experience for a moment. Besides those, I had fun and I think you could expand this a lot to be longer game too! Graphics were extremely charming and well made. The tense moments from the chases and mouse-mechanics were nice! Good work on this ^^

This little game is really well done! The mechanics are exciting, and the pacing was really good! I could see this being developed into a bigger experience easily!

Suggestions:

-Making the inventory more easy to see, or instructing the player were it is, I didn't see it at first until i read a comment, I would have missed the best parts if not for that.

-Add more lore a bit more story or background to the situation would add a lot more to the game.

-Also put some more work on the front page, add the main image used for the game as the banner and some more things and it would help a lot to the advertisement, also put some red in the title art that will help attract more attention!

Overall the sound effects, the music, the design it was all on point!

Great creature design! I liked your dark room puzzle idea especially, pairs well with your point and click mechanics. Nice work!

This is awesome! I was only confused as to where the inventory was.

Horror part really works!
Controls not very obvious: inventory on top is easy to miss and sometimes it's hard to understand where did i come from.
I enjoyed playing this game anyway :)

May be I miss something, but when i get a flashlight, in dark room was still message 'need light source'.
But art in nice.

You need to choose flashlight in the inventory on top of your screen.
