Good job. I like when the art become only line art with red color. It give me scary vibe in there. At first the puzzle make me confuse what candy that I need to place, I not aware that I need to match with the picture in bowl.

Really impressive that you drew all of the art for this! It looks very good, and you've done an excellent job on keeping the style together. I also like that you have an alternate ending. Visual novels aren't really my style of game, but I thought the story was pretty decent. You could probably have lost a lot of the extra functionality (saving, skipping etc) without losing any real quality because of how short it is, and that might have given you some more time to add a couple extra bits of 'gameplay' here and there. Overall a solid and lighthearted submission, good job :)

A Trail Of BreadcrumbsThe art was definitely my priority when making the game, so I'm pretty relieved it's come across this well. Unfortunately a lot of that functionality is a part of the engine I'm using so it wasn't something I spent time on, I just have poor time management skills DX but that's partly why I joined this jam in the first place haha. Lilith's HungerI really wish I was able to create my own art! Sadly, my art skills are lacking, haha. I'm always amazed when I see stuff where people have made the game, as well as written the story, and drawn the art. I love the style of the sprite/design for the player character, it's cute :3
I died right near the start for giving the wrong sweet xD The tag line for the game made me laugh, cos I really don't like black licorice either, haha.

Idm licorice as like a liquid center inside sweets :D I just don't like the chewy variety x3 I'll take chocolate over sweets any day! In your game, I really didn't wanna give up my chocolate x3
Creating all of the art assets all on your own for a game jam is really tough, especially since you don't know how much time you'll have to dedicate to the actual development and such! So the fact that you got so many assets drawn is great. It's a very cute style.
The story was a bit hard to follow, but I'm also not much of a visual novel person! Excellent work, either way.
