Really nice game! Everything's really great and well polished so I only have nitpicks: wasd is a bit of a weird control scheme, it's not super intuitive but im sure if I played the game more I'd get used to it. And maybe tweak the pacing a bit, the start of the game seems too slow and then it jumps up in speed really quick so I'd say start a bit faster but increase speed more incrementally.

Oh my god, this is one of the coolest entries I have played! This is awesome, reminds me a lot of super hexagon, but with its own unique take. I really like it, and has potential as an educational game
Ya I would love to have had time to put it to music like Super Hexagon.
The game actually came from going on a walk with my friend's mom who is an instructor and her saying it should be a game about spelling. I'm not the best speller and I'm not a huge fan of spelling games in general, so I made it only tangentially about spelling lol.
the difficulty increases too fast, it was hard for me to understand which word was the one to write and I think a radial type of control would be much better than axial as now. However, the aesthetics of the game, the idea and the music are great, it is understood that due to the short time more things could not be done (in addition to the fact that in the note of the game it says that you wanted to do the radial control thing) so congratulations, it's a very good game to play and quite innovative!
the game is nicely done. gameplay is good. art is alr and sounds are nice
I liked your game so much! First of all- the theme of love letter is just so nice and wholesome it made my heart warm! I literally want to hug my wife right now!
- Other than that. Graphics were cool and the paper plane really fit the theme of the letter quite well.
- Background song was nice, but not intrusive. Voice spelling out the letters provided nice feedback about if I got the letter, or not.
- The difficulty ramped up fast (maybe a bit too fast?), but that made me play the game a bunch more times :)
Over all- your game just hit me in the right place!
Thanks <3! Whoa :D thats a very sweet note thanks you for sharing. The game gives you your love letter after you run, so maybe you could read it to her. 🥰 (lol I would love to have time to have the game create actual love letters)
About the difficulty, it ramps up a lot faster than I would like. I intentionally did it to fit into the jam. I think a finished version of the game would ramp a lot slower or ramp in a less linear way.
Litterally so unique game it is.. I really liked the game style, Wonder if you can add some turns or inverted map also,, Really enjoyed the game!! Do check out mine also,, Cheers...
Thanks <3! I wanted to add turns and better mechanics, but I ran out of time. I started this jam waay late so everything was crammed together.
Theres two reasons why adding turns was low on my priority list:
1) The way the tunnel is built is a complete hack. Its literally a series of circle vectors that always face the camera placed at set intervals and slide towards the player. I could create a tunnel bend out of this system, but it would require more fine tuning then I had time for.

2) I wasn't entirely sure on the interaction. Does the player auto follow the tunnel and thus has less visibility of up coming danger? Does the player have to steer into it? What do you think?
I will 100% play your game! I play, rate, and try to leave feedback on all the web games :) Theres just a lot and I like to spend enough time with each game until I get it, I've gotten through around 40 at this time.
Wonderful graphics, simple yet very effective.
Also very well integrated tutorial !
Great job !
Thanks <3! :D I'm glad you thought the tutorial was well integrated! I really like when the game's UI/tutorials/stuff is integrated into the game world. Its usually not a good idea, but when it can theres something magical about it. Oddly enough I started by creating the tutorial levels and then went on to create the actual game.
I love the vector aesthetic going on. I also love how the letters are voiced out. The idea of collecting letters was also interesting.
Thanks <3! I'm glad I got the theme across better this time around! Thanks adding the voiced letters was a very last minute change I did, I wanted to do it from the start but it was pretty low on the priority list. I'm just glad it actually worked and didn't end up breaking the game lol.
Vector drawing was done via a the Shapes library. It's pretty awesome. I sorta wish Unity would buy them out and Shapes would be included in the Spline package.
Pretty fun little game. Graphics and sound are good too. Would be a cool game with a controller for movement.
THIS game got addicting fast, really well done.
The whole game has a vibe and carried through ell. Love how you incorporated the tutorial into the game.
I think with controller support for floating point movement the game would feel even better.
Good job
Thanks <3! I'm glad you liked the tutorial being integrated into the game. I love stuff like that, including how the menu is integrated into the world as well. Its really nice to hear you liked it! :D
Ya the controls need work in general. I think adding a bit of drift to them would make it feel more like you are a paper airplane. I think controller and mouse support would add a lot as well, because the amount you move with a single keyboard click is too much (its like at least %5 of the game space). It had to be that much to allow for the plane to go as fast as it does tho. I could add a "sprint" feature, but I was def low on time this game jam since I started so late. Thanks again!
That's the cool thing about jams, if you think your game has potential you can always keep working on it.
I get your feeling with time, had appointments all of the Saturday morning. and Work on the Monday. Definitely wish I had more time.
if you do find some time would you mind playing and rating my game :)
I love how letters are pronounced like in animal crossing.
Thanks <3! Hahah I crammed that feature out in like 30 minutes before the end of the jam, frankly I'm glad it worked dude. I lucked out there lol, it was a very dumb idea to include it. But what I had before was really bad. Just like a bleep sound I had recorded. I really wish I hadn't started this jam so late, but I was busy Friday and Saturday.
Cool game. The idea is very interesting. I would say about the problem with letters, but it has already been mentioned enough.
