If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
Excessively.
(The puzzle mechanics are all based on silly sounds, and things like the walls make sounds when interacted with!)

This was really neat, I loved how the player literally rolled around and all the barriers are individual notes.
The puzzles were simple yet made me think a little bit, and I don't know if it was intentional but there was one point I was able to slide the blocks through a wall lol.
The various "moves" were neat, I especially liked the "Ur Ned" line! And they played well with the little Simon Says puzzles.
Oh, and the ending was very funny!
Excellent work!
Wew this was so good!
First off I really like the sounds! just rolling across a wall is so satisfying and it just feels on point even if it serves no functionality (Excessive!?! one might say! 😮).
The idea of having different abilities tied to different sounds is really unique! and made very interesting! I struggled with some of the puzzles at first but got there in the end!
It's my headcannon that the "Ur Ned" sound effect actually changes person-to-person, and you're somehow scraping itch for the player's name and dynamically generating an audio clip for each individual player 🤯 Well done for that seemingly-impossible technical achievement!
Small thing but the little jingle at the ending was also a very nice touch (and I enjoyed how I could play it backwards!)
Anyway lovely entry! Thanks for taking part!
Sorry, didn't figure out how to play
I absolutely loved this game! At some parts I did get stuck but eventually I figured it out. I kept wondering what your "You're Ned" sound was for. Incredible sound design. I think the piano puzzle was my favorite puzzle. Amazing game!!!
Aww thanks!!
I'm a sucker for puzzle games, even though I suck at them, and I think how sound was worked into the gameplay is a really strong application of the theme. The sparse graphics design works great, and for the most part the game is intuitive enough that it doesn't need text or other hints. I love how everything makes a sound, too.
There were a few parts that felt really unclear and I really struggled with them. I thought the colours in the pie puzzle lined up to sounds, but that doesn't seem the case, and I still have no idea how I got past the keyboard/locks puzzle. I almost got stuck at the second moving blocks puzzle because I didn't realize there were two puzzles in that room and you had to solve the first one (a pie puzzle) to get the voice to move blocks north.
I think one of the sounds was also granted twice? Not sure.
The ending was weirdly meta.
I'm not sure if it was deliberate, but despite being marked as a Windows build the downloadable version appears to just be a copy of the web version.
The ending was so meta, I love it >u<
pls don't tell me it's unintentionalkinda disappointed that the walls aren't rick roll, though 😢
wall, wall never changes.
I was on the last puzzle when I realized there was no background music. No background music really made the rest of sounds in the game stand out.
Very fun! I love the way the walls react to your presence
Enjoyed this one a lot, really cool use of sounds!
