the twist is nice !
Splitting the golf ball to hit more holes is truly a 300IQ move! Gives me flashback of the impossible golfIt trap maps. Really fun idea!
Hey, I really like this game's idea! It's very fun to play and I think if you extend some of these levels, this could be a very cool finished game!
INSANLY fun and creative twist on the classic golf formula. With some polish and work this could easily be developed into a full game :) Great job!
Really innovative gameplay. I don't think i've ever played minigolf with a ball piece. I could actually imagine this game on steam with achievements and a nice themed background world + soundtrack per bigger level course.
Reminds me somehow of the old 50+ games collection dvds ^^
I really love the first impression when you shoot and the ball just splits. The game makes a whole lot of fun :D
Absolutely infuration yet brilliant concept. The harder you hit the ball, the more chances you have to miss the hole (and catapult the piece out of the map...). Nice :D
love the breaking sound of the ball. great take on the theme
Haha thank you so much! The sounds were a last-minute addition. We almost completely forgot to add any!
The ball breaking sound specifically is just me crunching some raw pasta!
Cool take on the theme!
cool! unique idea!
They should do this in reallife!
This game is super fun and addictive! The simple mechanics make it easy to jump in, but the challenges keep it exciting. I love how it ramps up in difficulty. Great job!
This is hilarious. AND ALSO INFURIATING XD
Nice
Cool game idea. :-) Quiet challenging, at least for me! Lots and lots of Bogeys! 😅
But a hole in one in the first level! :-)
Its funny to see someone using this pun, great game!
Thank you! The pun was the initial idea, and we built a game around that haha
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Very unique concept with great visuals! It's a bit tedious later on to manage all the individual pieces and holes and its surprisingly hard to properly aim with half or quarter a ball :D
If you have had more time, what would you add/change?
Good job :)
Thank you for the feedback! :)
We definitely would like to improve upon the physics. It should be difficult to aim with a half/quarter ball, but maybe not this difficult.
Some features we had planned that got cut short were:
- Music (and lots more audio in general)
- The ball being able to break into any number of pieces (rather than the pre-defined halves and quarters)
- More visual feedback when you win/lose/putt a hole
We plan to implement all of these after the jam is over. We really enjoyed working on this (our first ever game!) and look forward to working on it some more. :)
I like the interpretation of the theme^^
Also cool idea and execution of it but it's really hard and frustrating to hit the hole with the pieces. They move too weird. But nothing else to expect of a shattered ball :P
Also some cozy music would be nice :3 (had the same problems xD)
Still sweet game for 48h and cool that you got some levels to play :)
The sounds were very much a last-minute addition. We seemed to almost entirely forget audio existed until the last 2 hours haha
The sound of the ball being hit is just me hitting some plastic. And the sound of the ball shattering is me crunching some uncooked pasta.
Music would have been a great addition!
Thank you so much for your feedback :)
Love the concept! Looking forward to future updates!
We definitely plan to update this after the jam is over! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great idea, but I surrendered at hole 5. It was too hard for me to consistently crack the egg, so I can hit all holes. 😄 In general I found the physics a little bit too floaty, making me go over the borders all the way. Fun game, nonetheless. 👍
We really appreciate the feedback! The physics were definitely difficult to get working in 2 days haha, they do feel a little off. The simple cracking mechanic took a ton of work!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
