Nicely done, the gameplay it’s quite fun and well tailored for the playdate. Brings up the nostalgia, and now it’s always available in my pocket, ty!
shame for going meta on the theme :P

You know, well played with the explanation for the theme. Beyond that, it's a fun little game that I could see myself picking up again!

Oh gosh I’m so bad at multitasking! Fortunately this game gets a bit easier if you’re bad at it whenever any city is destroyed. If I just focus on putting the A-rocket on a path and then switch to B and do the same thing I – well I could get a 6:30+ time on my second playthrough.

I really like how smooth the controls feel here as well. A lot of it is in the scale as well.

The twist with ‘normal’ missile command is enough to make this a proper Playdate feeling game.

(I really shouldn’t point out the lack of sound effects or music … people in glass houses and all that.)

I really, really enjoyed challenging myself to find the perfect vector for a rocket just to let it go while I fired the next one, this feels like a modern arcade classic!

Super fun casual game with a surprising depth when you start to launch multiple rockets and swap between which you control. Really smooth transitions and controls. Felt good to play and is a lot of fun. I can totally see myself playing this quite often as a casual game, especially with a bit of sound and levelling built in.

super good arcade game here!! even in its current state i can see myself coming back to this one often,  it's a relatively simple idea but it's executed super well in a way that makes it really satisfying to play, especially when you can send a rocket flying rogue and hit one of the enemies perfectly. and the crank salute is just the cherry on top 🫡❤️ can't wait to see where this one goes

Such a good twist on the missile command formula! Really fun to get the hang of multitasking with multiple missiles going at once

Very fun! Feels very polished, only the sound is missing than it would be close to perfect. Only negative aspect I see is that it does not really fit the theme but yeah let’s forget that ;)

Right-down-my-alley-kind-of game! Huge fan of arcade games like this. I love the rocket launching from towers A and B, the shoot-to-release feature as well. The sprites are really tiny but not hard to hit, and the speed is just right.

Only thing is that the rockets target broken towers which makes things very easy! In theory there is no incentive to keep all the towers alive, just one next to a missile launchpad 😁

Very fun game to play!

I went back and forth on this, and kinda regret where I landed for the jam. There is a slight score penalty for each time a destroyed city is hit, but think I agree they should just not be targeted at all (or at least only very rarely). Thanks for playing!

Still a great execution, this game will remain on my playdate for future playing!

Super accomplishment on the gameplay ! love right left shooting, unlock missile that go freely in the last direction.
Very arcady.
No sound and not really on the theme actually but still a good entry for the jam after too much memory game^^!

The missile command gameplay really took me back. Nice work, I love the card with the saluting playdate
