Very nice concept! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Pixel Weekend Jam #2 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I like the art, sound, and music: even things like the sound clicking through the exposition in the beginning fit. However, I also had some difficulty with the controls. I think as a demo for the battle portion of an RPG it seems really promising; I'd look forward to seeing the game that gets built around this. Are you 3 planning on working more on it?
Found a crash: Trying to fuse a mage with themself makes everything explode.
The art, sound, and idea is pretty great. I feel it bears mentioning though that the controls are extremely unintuitive and awkward; including a list of hotkeys doesn't really fix this.
Thanks for the feedback! Current controls were supposed to be temporary, but I delayed making them more intuitive and easy for so long, that by the time I started thinking about remaking controls, I had no time to do it. I guess next time I'll have to think about making them intuitive from the start :)
Pixel art is great and i like the mechanics. Hope this get new updates like history, maps and enemys.
Each of three stages has random enemy mages, and played tracks depend on which mages are there (using a simple color checking).
Canceling the active fusion doesn't work (I didn't have time, even though I coded like frenzy ~17hrs per day).
But all fusions do work, so please check them all out, and also check the tracks, by replaying! :D
