Really enjoyed the gameplay loop on this!
Upgrades were super fun to play around with.
Would like to see the theme expanded even more.
The style was consistent and readable!
Overall very good job.
I found the game to be very compelling, I would like it if the cooldown and health was better conveyed to the player. I had no idea the ears were the health, same with the cool down being the rat's head up. If that was explained to the player that would've been nice!
The theme implementation is spot on, the snot and cheese spreading is really satisfying to watch a grey texture get covered green and yellow.
I really like how every time you attack, the attack type changes. I would like it if there was a small UI to show what is up next to make it easier for new players.
Plays well, nails the theme, upgrades are clever and fun, and get better as the game goes along, and there are multiple difficulties to keep it replayable and fresh. Art direction is almost amazing, Ren & Stimpy or AHHHHH Real Monsters! would be great inspiration to take it to the next level, and with some narrative exploration here it could really be something.
Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?

Tell us about your game!
A twinstick shooter. You move with WASD and shoot with the arrow keys. You can pause with Esc or the spacebar.
Your shot is like a shotgun - and each time you shoot, your spread and range grows, so you must learn to adapt!
Survive through 5 waves of enemies and earn points to buy upgrades.
There's a hard mode and an endless mode - but I'd recommend trying those out after the normal game.
Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes
Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes
