Very cool concept, I'm unfortunately way too bad at these kinds of games to get very far. Great work!
Thanks! We honestly should have created a few quick tutorial levels at the beginning to show the player what to do better, so the blame is on us :)
I think it's a cool idea and a great mix of old and new. It's a little bit difficult to navigate on control exactly what you want to do with the blocks though. To me it felt a bit random.
I like the art though! Good job :)
Thanks for the feedback! After the game jam we might add more to the moveset if not just polishing/fixing the controls.
I think it'd be much more satisfying to be able to click on the blocks and move them one space aka "throwing". All the same things could be there but the player would get more freedom, as it can be hard to navigate with the current keybinds.
Yea unfortunately we did not get to do the entire moveset. The game is based on/inspired by Warrio's Woods and in that game you could kick blocks too. Might add more of that after the jam is over.
Thanks for the feedback!
A spreading twist on a classic game.
Here are my notes I jotted down while playing:
Great to see classic games revamped with twists.
