the lore in this game is derived from another game i made before this one.
it wasn't very good though.
briefly put, GladderVines is a ghost town of anomalous nature.

I would try to find a Utility card,
then use a hatchet on it if you got one.
Redraw + Utility (+2 Hatchet) = 4 Utility payout.

oh sry my bad.
I should've put better instructions somewhere.

Blank + Utility = 1
Redraw + Utility = 2
Utility + Utility = 3

Every hatchet used during this adds +2 more to the payout.
So Hatchet->Utility + Hatchet->Utility = 7

Only utilities will payout.

i first designed this game using a bicycle deck :)

Hearts = Blank
Diamonds = Redraw
Club/Spade = Utility
Joker = Tower

oh yea you can advance the dialogue by just holding down the mouse button btw.

Chances are, either the host counted the cards and wasn't confident in finding a utility on the next draw,
or he backed down after checking his "Risk Tolerance"
which decreases if he's losing badly enough.

On your turn,
if you leave the game window for 5-6 seconds,
the Host will say something about it.

i see. ill try to do something to mitigate having to turn around all the time. I think i got something mind if i can get around to it.

my bad I thought i fixed that.
WebGL doesn't like too many concurrent AudioSources, and the forest fire spawns a lot of them.
I put different limits on PC/mobile Web platforms,
but ig i'll have to lower them some more.

If you could let me know how many fires it takes to make the audio crackle, i would appreciate.

For now, you can trick the game into running in mobile mode by hitting "F12" to open the Inspector,
hit "Toggle device toolbar" in the top right,


Set your dimensions, zoom, and "No Throttling",

Run game, then it should start in mobile mode.
At this point, you should be able to close the Inspector.
If it worked, the shadows should be visibly disabled.


Or u can play the game on ur phone. :p
