my bad og. wanted the tunnel to rly show how u were moving but ig ideally there'd be an option to use more mild patterns.

yea i was working with a new char controller i put together and the acceleration/friction gets a bit more slippery with increasing speed.
It does increase linearly under the hood but ig at higher speeds it gets overloaded.

i wanted to do bloom at least on the title screen but i couldnt do it in time 😭

oh yea you can even spam jump to build revs faster and just speedrun ur way into the late game.
couldn't figure out how to balance that out so i just left it in.
though its kinda handy on repeat runs.

Sadly, I recently had to bump the release date to March 2026 because Steam's October NextFest is happening too soon and the game isn't ready to show off yet. (needs translations.)

Hatchet has the additional effect of increasing Double Down payout by +2. This applies for both cards struck during Double Down.

Combine that with two Utility Cards, the highest possible payout is 7. This can greatly increase your odds of getting a crowbar and stealing everything back.

If you would like The Host to play fairly, a fair mode is available.
