  • Fun platformer with thematic gameplay.

How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
I made the protagonist have to use glitched features and mechanics in order to progress through the levels. These glitches are both a story element and a gameplay addition.

Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

No

Did you use the Audius API in your game?

No

If AI was used in your game, let us know how you used it.
I did not use AI.

Very cool game! Movement with the glitch mechanics was very fun.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The mood feels great, and the music definitely helps! Like a cyberpunk dystopian city or something, I really liked it :)

I couldn't tell what had collisions and what didn't, so I was a bit stuck at first. Afterwards, it was pretty intuitive to understand where to go :)

I erased the world >:)

Great game! Congrats on the submission

Developer

Glad you found it so! I appreciate you playing. :)

Love the atmosphere! I was wondering, did you mean for the cloak mechanic to freeze in the air? It makes the game a bit easier.

Developer(+1)

Yep! It was another "error becoming the feature" sort of situation. I think it created some cool technical moves that would not be possible otherwise. Thanks so much for playing!

Absolute cinema! Pretty cool game, pretty polished as well!, got both endings. there were some bugs with the aliens thing, but overall pretty cool game, nice story, good music. and pretty impressive for a 72h jam! The mains thing that could be improved is the character control, maybe give an variable jump height, also, I believe changing the controls from shift and control to other keys would also be an improvement.

Overall pretty good game. very good potential if I say so!

Yeah the interlopers are by far the most broken feature of the game, but I am really glad you appreciated the narrative elements! In the future, I would totally flesh out the Character Controller more to add things like you are suggesting. Out of the two endings, which was your favorite?

I guess the "yes" one

Very nice. Love the vibes and the animal crossing voices!

Developer

Thanks! I put a lot of effort into that system and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Great vibe with art and music.  loved how you wove in a narritive.

Developer

Thanks so much!

Great game, my only complain is the use of shift and control. you press them with pinky finger and it is designed for press and hold (such as sprint and crouch), not some precise timing. the shift thing is not much an issue in this game, but the control button makes me mad

Developer

Totally fair criticism. I think if I had more time I would have added controller rebinding. Thanks for playing!

i played the game to the end and the mechanic was amazing the are so many ways to clear the way. it was a bit hard but i enjoyed it. the red light chase was too good. the only problem is that the game is so dark (it was great that is dark) it has a vibe but it was hard to look at player. overall it was so fun to play . the music was so good, it matches the world vibe .
