It didn't work for me. Too bad.

You managed to pull off an ambitious idea in such a short time. The mix of music, story, and visuals shows a lot of creativity! With some extra polish on readability and combat flow this could really shine even more :)

The aspect I like the most in this game is the music, pretty fitting and has different songs matching the different situations.

The arts are fun to look at first, but I quickly found that it's too busy in the game, there's too much going on in one frame, so you can't focus on your character or gameplay, and you can't differentiate between important elements from the background of the game. Text is an important element of this game, but the design of the dialogue box and font makes it hard to read.

The combat needs a lot more work tbh. It says the attack direction follow my mouse direction, but on the web build it doesn't work that well. The abilities are not explained so I was confused at what they do. The way the levels are designed I can just run straight through the combat without needing to fight.

Hope I don't come off as too negative. It's a cool concept, I want to point out things I find as incomplete and needs more attention. Hope you can take those feedback to make a post-jam update, or to your next project.

Nah, everything you said is on point. we had a trust trying to complete this Lol, so not coordinating the art and having decided on a limited colour palette did lead to things being hard to see unfortunately. Thanks for your review!

The art is amazing, i love how you implemented the motherboard land its kinda unique and sci-fi looking. the music is fit to the game, i liked it. it was a bit confusing to find my way to the next level but i managed it to find it. after that eventually i learned the mechanics. The texts on dialogues and on first story were not easy to read. animations look super cool though. overall great game with good visuals GL <3

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback! yeh i agree with you on the dialogue being hard to read, we unfortunately did not manage to submit the improvement in time. Also, sorry if the cutscenes were too fast to read, this was noted too.
