How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
In our shooter there is no life bar, just ram that you'll have to free by killing enemies, or you'll overflow.

It was fun but I don't understand how the RAM thing was supposed to work, like it was getting up all the time and impossible to get down fast enough

Interesting game! Loved to play it. Not really fan of this artstyle tho, but the gameplay itself really cool and interesting take on an idea. I always love to see a fellow Godot developer out there :3

Pretty interesting take on the theme, but I ultimately thought it was a bit weak on the interpretation, since it was just a reskin of a health bar. With that said, I also see that the RAM usage would also tick up when you don’t take damage or do anything, so maybe it also relates to the number of enemies in the level or something similar? I hadn’t figured that part out yet.

On the gameplay side, it was pretty simple. The controls are ok and bug-free, but I found that having everything in the game suddenly stops to give you an upgrade panel is kinda jarring.

I also found out on the second run that this game was randomly generated, so I have to commend you for that, but sadly I feel like it’s still missing some meat on the bone to make it feel really interesting.

Got stuck picking the upgrade on lvl up from 1 to 2, had to restart. Other than that, pretty solid!

First run I got struck at this but then saw the comment and got to know it was a death screen lol. Fun game!

This was actually loads of fun. Good theme integration, I would have liked to see the art represent the theme a little more, It feels like robots, or even circuit boards would have been more thematically on point than zombies. The atmosphere is very good and suits the horror vibe.

Did I notice some dynamic music switching? very nice.

Oh, and special note to using the 3D black walls as a visual sight mechanic for the top down 2D.

Somehow i can get stuck into the maze after being hit by the zombie who will charge forward when he sees you. Pretty interesting idea about the ram usage but instead of just loading back the home screen, show the death / lose screen UI and have a back button to at least let the player know that they lose the game. I felt clueless when I was being snapped back to the home scene without realizing I already lost the game so hope this helps.

Thanks to have played the game! We struggled a lot with the tiles hitboxes and could not fix this in the end (first jam, sorry for the inconvenience). For the losing screen, we chose not to add one and crash the game (i.e. close the window) at the beginning to make it feel like it was a real ram issue, confusing on purpose. As now we just drop back to the menu, it makes less sense and can be frustrating, I agree.
