Somehow i can get stuck into the maze after being hit by the zombie who will charge forward when he sees you. Pretty interesting idea about the ram usage but instead of just loading back the home screen, show the death / lose screen UI and have a back button to at least let the player know that they lose the game. I felt clueless when I was being snapped back to the home scene without realizing I already lost the game so hope this helps.

Thanks to have played the game! We struggled a lot with the tiles hitboxes and could not fix this in the end (first jam, sorry for the inconvenience). For the losing screen, we chose not to add one and crash the game (i.e. close the window) at the beginning to make it feel like it was a real ram issue, confusing on purpose. As now we just drop back to the menu, it makes less sense and can be frustrating, I agree.

No worries! You guys did a very good job for a first jam!
