This is great for only your fourth track, mine was horrible lol. Pretty cohesive, and some pretty relaxing synths. Great work!

Very nice and relaxing, I like bass line and texturing sounds, so soothing. Good job!

I love the aesthetic of cyberpunk, but sometimes the crazy heavy tracks can get overwhelming, so I love this take on cyberpunk. So nice and chill. Really good for your fourth track!

As others have mentioned, very impressive for this being only the fourth track you've ever composed! The groove and harmony parts sound really nice. I think the biggest improvement I could see is to have a more interesting lead voice, both in terms of melody as well as in terms of texture; right now, it feels a little bland. Also, adding a B section to the tune would probably help a lot to keep the interest up. Apart from that, very impressive, well done!

very laid back and chill! Good job!

Alright, here goes.

Nice opening. Really like that LFO'd electric piano. Lovely. Oh, nice synths. Really like all the detailing going on in the upper mid frequencies with those fluttery synths. They add some lovely texture to the whole thing. I'm just picturing small sparklers floating around. Cool idea of pitching the drums and using it as bass. Nice lead line too. Oh that vocal-like synth sound is really nice too. I really like how it complements the rest. Nice outro by going back to the basics. Well done! Very enjoyable tune.

This is only your fourth track? Crazy. It sounds great. It definitely sounds a lot better than the fourth track I ever made. Heck, it sounds better than a lot of the stuff I do nowadays even (after years of practice). I'm impressed.

This is damn good for a fourth track! Good choice of instrumentation, a lead line to keep it interesting, you check all the boxes! :)

Thank you so much for the reply, Rihards! I like yours a lot as well!! Will leave a detailed comment there XDD

Hey there fellow Garageband IOS user! I like that drums and sub-bass thing behind it, what are the instruments?

Great OST for rests or puzzles in the game

Developer(+1)

Hey there fellow Garageband user, Mr. NE! The drums are all modern 808 from beat sequencer, I just wiped whatever default pattern they have and build on top of that. The sounds from the kit I ended up using are: Kick, Closed Hit-Hat, Clap, Low Tom, and Bongo.  For sub-bass I used Crushed 808 Bass - Raw 808 from the Alchemy Synth option under Keyboard (if I interpreted it correctly). I'll give yours a listen in a moment!!

This is the fourth track you've ever composed?? Damn, my fourth track was absolutely nothing like this. It took me a year before I could make anything in the same realm as this. Good work! If I had to give any feedback, it's that the main lead somewhat stands out against the resonating pads/synths, due to it's lack of reverb and the like. I would add some reverb or something, but honestly, even that is just an opinionated criticism, I could totally see keeping it the way it is for a reason. Overall, great job! If this is your fourth track, I can only imagine what you can do with a DAW that isn't Garage Band!

Thank you so much for commenting, Halo!! I really really appreciate it 😊 I agree that the lead is very out there but didn't know what to do besides changing the instrument; but now and thanks to you and other jam participants, I know how to change it!

I'll give yours a listen in a sec!!

Really fun rhythms, it has kind of a tresillo feel to it!

Really like the chill ambient vibes, definitely imagining watching the credits roll while our protagonist sits on the roof of a building, legs dangling off the edge, watching the stars come out.

I agree with the other comments that the lead synth is a little too aggressive. I’d also recommend playing around with reverb sends —- right now, each instrument has its own reverb, which makes them sound disconnected. Running them all to a unified reverb channel would blend things together a bit more and help unify the different parts!

Developer

Ohhhhh thanks Aran!! I'll definitely try that out in a moment. SO much more to test and learn XDD

Great rhythm and "cybery" feel. I thought the synth instrument a little too aggressive compared to the soft vibe of the piece, maybe try to dampen it a bit? Really nice job tho for only your 4th piece!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback ACpants!! I'll try that in a moment but I definitely agree that the synth is a lil too out there. I've tried switching the instrument around but was never satisfied. Maybe dampening would be my final remedy...

Definitely has a good sense of closing credits music. Nice job, well done.
