Description
Genres: Cyberpunk, Synthwave, Trance, Electro

The game this soundtrack is for is a story based rhythm game that features a mage as the main character. This mage lives in a city called Neohaven. The city is in a power struggle between guilds of powerful mages. The lower class relies on these guilds for their daily existence, like big corporations or gangs. The mage starts as being a lower time wizard / wizard in training. This mage in particular always had an affinity in fire magic, but due to the working conditions in the energy guild, preferred to become a time mage. Because they never learned how to use their fire magic, it is basically uncontrolled flame. When the mage’s family is killed by criminals, the mage demands that the higher wizards allow him to go back in time and stop this atrocity. The mages deny his request, so he begins doing his own research. This eventually leads to his removal from time wizards guild for attempting to learn illegal magic. In a fit of rage, the mage tries to fight back with his fire magic, to gain an explosive edge over the time wizards, but completely burns his body in the process. Presumed dead, the burnt mage’s body is discarded by the time wizards.

Each song represents a small part of this plot, as well as a season in this fantasy world

Burning Nights: This represents a season similar to polar night. In this season there is no sunlight, so fire mages create fake suns to allow for plant growth. This also sets the tone of the cyberpunk corporate fantasy world.

Searing Rain - This is the rainy season in this world. It rains a harsh and acidic rain constantly, many people choose not to go outside during this season. The rain is highly acidic due to magic residue in the air. This song shows the loss the mage feels and the beginning of his research into illegal time magic.

Kindling Harvest - In this season farmers harvest their crops and burn their remaining fields to improve the soil nutrition and absorb the toxicity from the rain. This song represents the explosive fight the mage has and his eventual death.

Message from the artist:
I hope you guys like aggressive electronic dance music :)

Theme:

Story of Seasons

How does it fit the theme?
Each song is themed around a season that exists in the fantasy world the game takes place in. Each of these seasons is also based on a real season , just not the traditional 4 seasons. The seasons they are based on are Polar Night, Monsoon Season, and Autumn or Harvest Season

Some very solid EDM right here. Great arranging and production!

these tracks are produced so well! they perfectly fit the kind of game you described

Woah. These fit so well for the type of game you've described. The drops are so satisfying!

Wow, these made me feel like I just got punched in the face... in the best way possible! I am not super well versed in this side (or really any side) of EDM but I can tell this production is great. It's not easy to have a mix this in your face while still maintaining good dynamics, but you managed to do it. Great job!

This is the cardinal sin, of EDM right here...  and unpredictable at that. Kindling Harvest starts slow, then goes full Prodigy for a while and ends in a happy hardcore festival. Searing rain is a real trance anthem and Burning Nights is more like old school techno with house elements (these strange chopped chords are delicious to listen to).

This is probably the coolest interpretation of the seasons theme I've seen here so far! This is an absolutely perfect set of tracks for a rhythm game, and one I definitely want to try out. Good job with the story in the music as well, it's not easy to get that to mix with EDM well. Speaking of mixing, I love the mix, it took a lot of willpower to not keep turning it up, haha. And I AM a fan of aggressive EDM, how did you know?

Perfect description of the kind of game this would go for and it would fit so well. Was hoping to feel a bit more of the seasons in each song and their uniqueness, but the songs themselves are ready to go in a game already.

The images you describe in the synopsis fit really well with the music ^^
it's like a free cam tour of an underground city where the fake suns are being forged while the city brims with light, and some places where you can see the acid rain fall
And it doesn't hurt that your brand of EDM is dark, aggressive and very well produced too !

Love the cyberpunk spin on the theme, it fits nicely with the theme. Some proper bangers here, I dig the sound. I'd love to hear more "depressing" stuff from you, but hey, that's me :D

This is awesome. I could listen to these over and over again. And I love how it's based on fictional seasons :)

Woah. Your teaser description lured me in and you deliver right out of the gate! The brutality of this music really sells the brutal story arc of the mage. And I love how you add sweet and melodic sections in the mix too, especially right before the finale in Kindling Harvest. Absolute banger!
