Lots of fun!   A little sound, a little music, some nicer looking arrows and it'd be just about perfect!  :)

Fun deckbuilding game with a nice graphic style! There's a lot of potential there, so keep it up!

Very fun! I like how you have to consider your cards carefully to make sure you don't run out.

Very cool.  Not sure I've ever seen the magic system you used before so I liked that.

I'm really impressed by this. As far as I know, making a card game like this in Unity is no easy feat. However, some simple sound effects would go a long way.

Good battle game! Took me a few attempts to understand the system (play cards, play attack, etc.), but it was fun after that. The hard fought victory (against Ragehorn) felt good :) Yet to beat the others. Some of the demons can attack my leader directly, although I have units still standing? Found the game to be pretty well balanced (the only exception being the King, which I didn’t use much). This does show promise to be fleshed out further. Some music and sounds will help too. Overall well made!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! You are right, the winged Demons can fly over your minions and attack you directly. I will add floating animations at a later point and hope that makes it more clear. (it is a solo project and I had my hands full with everything as it is) I'm proud of how the Ragehorn battle turned out, the other two were a bit rushed and are not there yet. Oh and the King is very strong in certain situations, don't dismiss him because he is so expensive ;) Time is important as well, don't take too long.

Victory! (Finally) This is an interesting combat system. Am I right that the number of demons that spawn simply increases over time, so the key to victory is being aggressive, and using your resources efficiently right from the start? (Win quickly or lose.)

Developer

Yes, you are correct, being aggressive is the right strategy (and lucky draw/enemy spawn). The demons spawn increases at the 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 10th turn I believe. At that point you are doomed >:D

This was a lot of fun to play! The controls and game mechanics were very intuitive.

I found I could survive for quite a while but could not get enough cards down to overwhelm the enemy. Getting the king down requires sacrificing your whole hand

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, the King is only good in the early game or when there are a lot of small demons around. If you take too long the demons will overwhelm you. Attack the enemy Leader early and use Arrows/sacrifice peasants against bigger demons should do the trick ;)

Them strats! Will give them a shot :)
