Really nice, the  style you gave to the game is great it remember me old arcade styles, music is fun and sticky, wish could have more bullets : ), or a booster for some seconds,  A bit hard but head shoot is a good add to get rid of the enemies.

Good job. Very nice graphics, but the gameplay is a bit hard.

Developer

thanks for playing and your feedback. yep, it is hard. il work on that in the future. :)

fantastic work!

love the art, you absolutely nailed the retro look!

Music is thumping too!

My only gripe would be that it's a little hard, at least for me.
But hey, at least now I can honestly say 'I shot the sheriff (multiple times)'  :)

I shot him too. At least I did not shoot the deputy...

Loved this game! Fantastic art and sound. Difficulty is insane! It is satisfying when you get a head shot. I felt like I ran out of bullets too quick and the baddies took slightly too many hits to die. Although that could be because I was firing blanks and didn't realise lol. Nice work!

Developer

yeah, difficulty is a bit of a bummer. lol. Definitely going to work on those elements in a future build, but so glad you loved it anyway, and the art comments are great. You can't beat that Master system feel. :) Thanks for your feedback and giving it a go! :)

I probably could have used a gentle easing into the game, it definitely felt like being dropped into the deep end and I'm not super fast on the draw anyways...

I love the art, you've done a good job bringing the scene together and you really nailed the retro vibe in a good, authentic way.

I had a little trouble discerning between the sheriffs and bandits. Do the sheriffs shoot the player?

It feels also like a little juice would really spice things up. Shake the screen a little when I get hit, maybe have cash and other goodies fling out of the bandits on a head shot.

All in all, it was fun once I got the hang of it and the art is very enjoyable. Great entry!

Great feedback, thank you and thanks for playing.:) I would of liked to of had a tutorial part, like shooting bottles at a cavern/wildlife to get familiar and practice the shooting and reloading. The levels I would of started steady and got harder, instead because of time you were very much thrown in the deep end, lol. Sheriffs were supposed to come in when you shoot civilians but I had to change it all to have something playable, so yes, they do shoot you. Cash and goodies is nice idea, maybe I could add something like that. Not sure about the screen shaking though, targeting can be tricky and may be a little to much disorientation, but it could be worth a try. Thanks for you comments. :)

Your just terrible at shooters! lol, no your quite right, it is very hard, too hard infact, i just never really got the chance to tweak and balance things out as i should of, it can be done, as i have tested it many times, which was most likely the problem, because i know what to do do, lol. :) the other problem i had was when i was playing it,it was at a reasonable speed but the exported one(here on itch) played so fast!, but there was sod all i could do about it.  Thanks for playing, your feedback is great. your tunes rock! perfect for this title. :) I'l look forward to coming back to this another time. Thanks again
