Awesome entry! I did one full playthrough on the knight class. I love the class sprites and boss designs. Its pretty impressive you were able to make unique bosses, classes, and upgrades in such a short amount of time. Unfortunately there are subpixels in the player and camera movement. Also on the boulder launchers there are two colors which are not in the jam palette. The game is visually immersive and the audio to signal enemy spawns was a great touch.
Upgrades felt meaningful but I couldn't understand the 3 upgrade slots. I bought a bunch of upgrades before the final level but I only got the $200 power swing added. As you mention there are a few bugs to iron out, the most annoying was playing knight and not being able to hit enemies standing on top of me. Favorite moment was farming enemies for gold and health before the second boss which was also my favorite fight. I really enjoyed playing. Thanks for participating!

I wish it were more clear that you can light a torch from the menu using P. Before I knew you could do that, I almost stopped playing because the initial radius of your vision is so small that it's very difficult to play.
Im glad I read the comments to figure that out, because this is a really well done game! The art is really nice all around - in the UI, the enemy/boss animations, the characters, the map, and the title screen. The fact that you have 3 distinct classes, each with their own unique upgrades, is super awesome. The familiar was awesome, as well as the 3 bosses with their own attack patterns.
Really well done! I had a lot of fun with it!
Love it! Clever implementation of a Fog of War and thoughful design on add a sound when I was close to an enemy.
