Hey! I just noticed a horror YouTuber I like to watch played your game! In case you didn't know, I'll link it for you, it's fun to watch lol

Thanks!  I actually saw it a few days ago lol.  I had a blast watching it!

A very cursed game, though in a good way. The premise is utterly bizarre, and it only gets crazier as the game goes on. You make good use of sprite manipulations, and the way the child moves unnaturally are very creepy. It feels similar to something like Baldi's Basics, a very unique kind of fear. Good work!

Developer

Thanks, it means a lot!

My strategy: Make an endless bread wall and cry.  Great creepy vibe, it was very difficult to see the required ingredients on what I'm assuming was the last level.

Developer

Bread walls for life.  I might add a light or something help clear that up for the last two levels, thanks for the feedback!

Spooky game (〇o〇;) it was nearly impossible until I realised you can hide behind the bread lol

Great voice acting, and good creepy child that I hope does not haunt me in my dreams... I'll leave some jam on toast outside my room just incase... (@_@;)

Thanks!  I wish I had put some more emphasis on hiding behind the food, but I'm glad most people found it, really happy you had fun with it!

I laughed my butt off playing this hahaha the streched out face and the voice over made it pretty chaotic but in a scary/funny way. It was a bit a confusing to get stuff outside the screen, I'm not sure if it's a bug.

It's rare a game makes me laugh, I had a lot of fun haha

Developer(+1)

I'm so glad you had fun playing it!  For some reason you need to fullscreen the game to see the whole screen, I'm not sure how to fix it but full screening is the solution.

i get scared really easy so this was basically stay in one place and let child say hunger lol

Developer

That's me when someone asks me to watch a horror movie lol.

You put the limited art to a good use and made it a strength of your game.

Also an engaging gameplay expirience and a nice variety of attack patterns.
My only remark is that the hit detection sometimes felt a bit wonky.

Developer

Thanks!  You can get hit if the demon kid can see you horizontally or not get hit if you are below ingredients.  But I saw that on some attacks the hit detection is a little off, it should be a simple fix for after the jam.

That was creepy! lol

I found very interesting the child's movements after the first level, it truly makes it waay more interesting.

Developer

Thanks!  It took a while to make sure the movement wasn't too repetitive or unfair.

Creeeeeeeepy! Has a very rich design somehow - despite all the hand drawn assets and weird sounds, it gets "the scary" across very well! Good job!

Developer

Thanks!

Thanks!  I'm glad my vision succeeded!
