Those poor moles! |⁰⊖⁰) I didn't know I was going to whack them with a shovel, I thought the shovel would do something to the muddy patches so I heard the squeaks and was like "Noooo!" haha

Rated you 5* on Music/Sound just for the mole squeaks (ノω^、) It made me laugh.
Haven't heard of QB64 either, so I'll look into it as it looked interesting to use. Good job with this game, it was fun!

Hi Kouda Ha

Thanks for trying it out, when looking for sounds I almost picked a squelching sound for the moles lo. Your reaction to dealing with the moles was exactly what I hoped for! ;-)

QB64 is great if you want to build from the ground up, it has a small helpful and friendly community on the forum and responsive developers.

Very ambitious game! Nice job with the editing tools. I think you could definitely improve on the tutorial/learning curve aspects. With simulator games it's always expected to have a bit of a struggle to learn things at the start, but the feedback on what you're doing wrong could be clearer. I think there's definitely room for improvement here, you could have something really cool on your hands.

Hi Neopolis

Thanks for the advice, I  am new to writing games and I am not a gamer. (Prefer coding to gaming)

So I should give clues at the start of the game then feedback in game when they use the wrong tool/asset.  Should the in game feedback reduce over time?

I have ideas for levels with new maps and tasks to add after the after voting on the Jam ends.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

I had some struggle to figured out how to play, but it is an ambitious project for a solo dev on a 9days jam.
It's an amazing idea! With some more polish could be an excellent game!
Congrats =)

Hi Gus

Thanks for the encouragement I will develop it further with more levels in the future.

The somewhat clunky controls gave me throwback to old point & click adventure games, which was unexpected and nice.

I played for approx 10 minutes and I'm really missing a sense of progression or ramping difficulty.

Hi Deylz

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and your advice on ramping up difficulty.

Cute graphics and nice concept! Hard to figure out what do.... I still don't know if I got it. The onscreen controlls threw me for a loop, was mashing qwerty to try to find the buttons.

Hi Leka

Thanks wanted there to be an element of a puzzle for the player to work out what to do to remove the different obstacles but I guess that can be a bit confusing.  You should be able to use both the on screen controller and keyboard arrow keys or awsd.

Seems like a nice idea, but I could not figure out what to do.

Hi

I wasn't sure how much I instruction I should give,  I guess not enough. To get rid of the rocks you need to use the wheelbarrow,  deal with the moles with the spade etc.

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and comment.

uuuhh maybe i dont get it but i cant seem to drop anything im holding and i can pick up stuff when it says i cant carry anything more but the items dont appear in my inventory... is this by design? cool graphics by the way

Developer(+1)

Hi

Thanks for trying it out, the drop button is bit redundant I think I will remove it in the next version and change the message about carrying stuff. By design you can only have 5 items in your inventory otherwise the game is a bit to easy and forces you to go back to the store for more consumable supplies. Once you have brought an hardware item there isn't any way to get rid of it currently (maybe could sell it back to the store in a future version).

Your input has helped me realise it need to redesign the control scheme  to make things clearer.

Graphics where fun to make glad you liked them.
