This is a unique idea! It was fun trying to figure out what villager wanted what weapon.

Nice system to try to get a discount at risk. you really need to remember I try to get a very nice first sale!

A good game with a cool concept that could be expanded to make it even more interesting. For example, perhaps a villager’s preferred weapon should not be hinted through dialog or appearance alone, maybe players need to pay attention to the place they’re living in, or give them some behaviors that would suggest something - try and test the player’s perception and deduction skills more to keep it more engaging. Another idea would be to let some villagers not immediately pay the player extra; for example, a boy gets bullied and you come and sell a weapon to him - if he managed to thwart his bullies next time because your weapon choice was ideal for his situation, he will pay you extra from the money he took from the bullies pockets. Things like this will make the gameplay much more interesting as an arms dealer. Lastly, I believe the discount mechanic should be improved and not make it feel like its all up to a dice roll.

Overall, I loved the concept and enjoyed my time selling weapons to everyone. Made about $900 in profit.

Love the concept of being an arms dealer, and the dialogue was pretty funny. The limited stock at the arms dealer added some challenge, as I would have to try and memorise what weapon somebody wanted if it wasn't in stock at the time. It starts to drag towards the end however, and I found myself skipping the merchant gamble because I would have to pay double half the time, so I might as well skip it.

To improve, I would either make the game shorter, or make the gameplay more dynamic and exciting, and also change the random merchant dice game to be more skill-based (even like blackjack, which is still largely down to chance)

These graphics lend themselves to a zelda type action/rpg type game but I like the merchant thing you have going on! I also like how you used the mouse to nvigate the screen rather than just controlling the player with wasd, since in this game movement is pretty irrelevant. Great Job!
