How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The one ability is being able to pick up the special object - "cards" and store them into a deck to be able to shoot them out.

Really fun, no bug spotted, I loved it. The only problem is that it's hard to enjoy all the mechanics implemented because our abilty switches like 3 times every second. However it's still one of my favorite entries :)
Does feel a little spammy, but enemies + mechanics are super cool!
One of the best games in the jam for me!
Best thing about this game is how it balanced all criteria. Everything was implemented, at the very least decently.
Also, the card being the main character and shooting out the symbols are very interesting I think, and really unique! Many ways this can be further implemented in a game! Flawless concept.
The weak sides of the game aren't even extremely bad so I won't yap about it, really good game!
Oh the only thing I feel I have to give feedback about, the cards are really complicated which shows the effort, but really goes unnoticed and adds to complexity for the player. For me I never got to strategize with what they do because I couldn't memorize them and just went random stuff go lol

Game is fun but given so many cards at once just made me play it as a bullet shooter. I shoot, I kill… With random teleportation card usage once in a while xD. Also, why do I have to kill these poor cute looking slimes D:
pretty cool effects from the cards, there are a few gameplay issues like I can’t go to the edge of the screen to collect cards, because enemies would spawn there.
also there isn’t much point for me to know what card is next since there’s no time to look, also very hard to.
If you make the game level bigger and camera follow the player it would solve the first issue.
Other than that it was pretty fun and if it was a bit more polished I’d play more.
Here’s an idea if you want to make it a full-fledged game.
A top down shooter where yo have to pick cards for your deck that are your weapons etc, as you play the game you unlock more cards. so you combine deck building + top down shooter/twin-stick shooter
Sweet and short game! Card abilities are kind of random but they have very interesting effects that set this game differently from other bullet hells in this jam! Also music is kind of a banger lol
Good entry! enjoyable. But not much time to think and make decision based on current card so you forced to play kinda random
I love the rogue like feeling of this game!
In my opinion you implemented the special object outstandingly, 5 stars for that and did you actually make all those power ups (cards) within this period because I was surprised to see someone that added many features in this short game jam!

Didn't expect this game to be so fun, I got a high score of 34300. The music is phenomenal and even though the game felt unfair or too chaotic at times it added to the fun, great game! My one suggestion is to track the player's high score.
Really cool game. The only thing i missed is an explanation of the card abilities. Help button and spinning card in top right corner is a damn good idea :)

Great Work ! Most of the time, I ended up dying because of the teleportation card that teleported me straight into a blob lmao. The movement and shooting feels great :) ! I like when the projectiles burst in every direction .
Very fun game, I enjoyed playing it! I think adding a small margin for blob-on-player collisions could be great for making it easier without changing any gameplay. Similarly, it would be nice to have the current and next cards more noticeable or at least closer to the player character. Continuing in the card variety direction, it could be cool to be able to tell which type of cards blobs drop. That way the player can strategize which cards to pick up and the order they do so. I noticed the blobs tend to group along the edges, which makes gathering their cards very risky. Lastly, I think a custom cursor would add a nice touch to the game. Looking forward to seeing where you take the game!

I agree, I did find myself dying to like a small pixel of the blob and having a risky time around edges.
Also did want to put the a smaller current card on top of the player but didn't get to it. The blob card drop being shown would be a nice addition which I was still thinking about so thanks for bringing it up again :) A custom cursor would be a great nice to have which will go in the list :P
