Post-Play evaluation:
-
Corruption is way too overpowered, and the characters used to remove corruption still take up character slots.Corruption is valued to 0.8 of an evil character. And the Outcast character is equal to an evil one, but killing them as a good one.
-
Balance still needs work. I’m not sure how complex it would be to build a calculation tool, but some level are simply impossible to clear, while in others, you can identify both evil characters on the board as soon as you flip the third card.
- As mentioned above, if there are 4 evil characters, solving the puzzle becomes extremely difficult, and if there are more than five, you are destined to fail.
Hello! I really like this idea. A long time ago, I also wanted to create a single-player version of mafia, but since there were no precedents at the time, it was really hard for me to come up with a suitable gameplay mechanic to adapt mafia into a solo experience. I thought about it for a very long time, but still couldn’t figure out a way to make it work.
So I have a somewhat bold question—if I create a similar game in the future, would it be alright for me to use some of the design ideas from your game? (I’ll make sure to credit you and explain the origin and context of the whole thing.) I probably won’t be doing this anytime soon, as I’m currently working on other games.
I really like how you’ve adjusted the lighting, with the red and blue lights rotating to mimic real car headlights. This idea is fantastic, and the lighting setup adds a lot to the game.
Additionally, I found a bug: if you short press the spacebar, your car speed decreases slightly, and if you keep short pressing it, your speed can quickly drop to 0, causing both you and the police car to stop moving.
I also noticed that if your speed is too high, you won’t be able to dodge obstacles in time, but if you reduce your speed to around 80-40, you can easily follow the police car and avoid all obstacles. Using this trick, I managed to reach 3000 meters.
