My game was based off of the Greek legend of Perseus and Medusa. The main mechanic is that the player can only see in the opposite direction as the way they are facing, which is a reference to how Perseus defeated Medusa (by looking at Medusa through a mirror). The snakes and (obviously) Medusa are game objects that are also part of the legend.

I liked this game
Nice concept, I had hard time as I didn't know the space bar ability.. But finished the game, nice
Thanks for playing! How did you find the boss fight's difficulty?
Well at first really difficult, but I defeated it the 5th time I fought it so that's ok :)
The pixel art feels solid and cohesive and the music is really nice as always. While I see the idea for the vision mechanic, I wasn't a very big fan of having to look in the opposite direction. Other than that, I thought the game was enjoyable in the other aspects.
Really great aesthetic, and a cool set of mechanics! Curious why you chose to only allow attacking while in the air? I've never seen that before, but it gave the game an interesting and unique flow. Sound design was nice, and graphics were clear. Great job!
I did that to encourage the players to jump more and have more chances to try out both the short hop and the high jump. Thinking about it i guess I was also subconsciously influenced by the aerials in smash bros since there aren't really any grounds moves that you can perform while dodging in and out in those games.
Nice! It definitely added something new to the formula, so I think it was a good call. Thanks!
Really liked the concept, it's original and offer a fun new way to play ! Well done !
Nice, I liked the idea of the light
Very interesting idea. Pretty fun mechanic that I feel like could be really fleshed out in a full game.
I liked the idea, colliders should be smaller on enemies and more forgiving for the player because i had many occasions when I killed the enemy and it killed me back, overall interesting game.
Thanks for your feedback! I definitely think this is my best game so far, but it can be at times a bit unfair or frustrating if you're not familiar with the mechanics.
I thought the lighting was wrong at first; but I guess it was part of the mechanic :)
Interesting idea, might be explored further with a couple additional mechanics.
Keep up the good work!
It took me time to understand how to play,
I have to say, the graphics and music are really ok, and the experience of playing is good.
I like this game.
