Team members
I had one team member. Willa Morgan did the audio related stuff. And I have dealt with the rest. I have a link on the game page as well. https://www.twitch.tv/wil_wisp

Software used
Unity

Use of the limitation
First thing that came to my mind was a pumkin head shining light to turn people to stone like Medusa. So I went with the fight between Perseus's Army & Gorgon Medusa. No matter what, you die in the end, so it is also historically accurate :)

Cookies eaten
I used to make a lot of choclate chip cookies. But I stopped recently since it became excessive. So my answer is sadly zero.

Awesome

This is top tier doods!
The art and the general game feel is really nice and fitting. Movement was fun and while it took me a minute to get a handle on everything; it was worth it and fun doing so.
Turning enemies to stone is really awesome looking and rewarding; more than if they just disappeared or went limp. Plus they themselves become obstacles which is super cool.

Then the end game way you tell the story of the run is a really nice way to end things :D

One of the funnest games I have played so far, I liked the turning to stone. great job!

I enjoyed this one very much. Loved the turning to stone. It builds randomized obstacles.

This was great fun and really well polished! The movement was satisfying and the effects/ sound design really enhanced the experience. Cracking job!

Wow, this looks great! The physics on the medusa thingy and the stone effect are great. The names at the end are a nice touch too. But the best thing is the gameplay, I even started using a strategy, attacking while bashing so I could stone more enemies at a time.

I saw this game and immediately I thought “Dune”, nice work.

PUMPKIN SNAKE

Wow, really impressive game for a 3 days game jam, especially by one person !
Really liked the concept, characters and graphics ! I don't know how all these fighters could fit under the tent aha !
Also, if I should find one little problem : I don't know if it's a problem from my computer, but the mixt attack/dashing wasn't that obvious to master

The game is really great, well done !

Visual art assets are not made by me. I only made the snake. All the other ones are listed in the used assets section if you are curious.

I just integrated them together :)

Thank you for the kind words!

Even then, you succeed to make a great result anyway for the render, that's the important ;)

Very well put together game! Everything feels so smooth and fluid. Love the idea of a pumpkin medusa. The different types of enemies help make the combat more engaging, especially when needing to dodge the ranged enemies whilst fighting melee ones. Nicely done!
